This plot is a little unrealistic. Like in the beginning 4 teenage girls, 4 white teenage girls all claim a teacher sexually assaulted one of them & they get suspended. Nowadays the guy could be innocent & he'd be fucked. Or no sympathy in the courtroom, how often does society turn against 5 white teenage girls & the asshole jocks who really were guilty go free

He had one example to his exaggerated claim when an estimated 85% of rape cases - not just sexual harassment or assault, but actual rape - go unreported, conviction rates are in single digits, and government records maintain that false reports account for only 3% which is consistent with most crimes. Please.

@genet13 Wait, what exactly are you getting on my case about? I didn't even specify what I was talking about, I was just agreeing on the level that yes, this movie kind of sucks. Of course most sexual abuse goes unreported/un-prosecuted, I know that, but I can think of an innocent person I really care about who was falsely accused, it ruined his life. It does happen, there are sick, evil rapists and other sick fucks who just seem to find joy in bringing misery to others.

@genet13 One of my issues with this movie, is the relationship with the girls. Like when they were tattooing each other and just decided to get naked and whatnot. It seemed to contradict the whole message of the movie, and was totally unrealistic. If people want to a see a movie about the evils and invisibility of sexual assault and it's toll on a young girl, I'd say watch Precious.

@mikedd56 Were you watching a different movie? Legs yelled at the other girls in the school's restroom, ostensibly cheerleaders, for ignoring the girls who were touched by that teacher. They didn't all claim to have been harassed, they just stood up for each other. And please, consult sexual assault statistics, including the incredible backlog of untested rape kits and single digit conviction rate of rapists, before you spout off overly emotional and ignorant opinions on YouTube.
