In a way, I think he could have said watch out a bit earlier. Saying it like half a second before it was too late didn't really help. But it was also the cameraman's fault for being too close. Isn't that the reason why cameras have zoom... to see things from a further distance?

@brother1997 thats exactly what i was told since i joined my schools drumline in their marching band. we were also told when we were marching to and from the field if someone reaches out to touch our drums to hit their hands with our sticks while playing cadance. they dont need to be touching them and they are expensive instruments if something did happen.

i love how people don't understand that marching bands have a job to do and they aren't going to work around a camera guy who is in their way. It's not being an asshole when the camera guy gets run over, if anything the camera guy is an asshole for getting too close and could potentially mess up the musician or section. If you don't know exactly where they are going then why would you stay so close? keep your distance and use the zoom on the camera.
