stoked on mine! i was able to get mine through school health insurance. with the appointments and copay i still had to fork over $800 dollars. however it has been 4 months and i cant be happier. it is not a cure but holy shit is it a huge improvement! i shoot skateboard photography and have to give lots of instructions under pressure, this little thing helps me sail through a hell of a lot smoother. save some coin and try it out. changed my life
I am an user of the speecheasy(CIC model; completely in canal) and it does improve fluency and not to mention confidence. It does not however prevent blocks (you that stutter know what I mean). I can be talking perfectly fine until I say a word beginning with a vowel (I block on vowels alot) and then its difficult again until I'm through the block. But all in all worth the money.
And if one can't afford a device like me then be prepared to live in verbal hell all your life. It's not worth living if one can't speak because they stutter so bad.
It truly is sick one cannot get a device to improve their quality of life because it's so costly.
If one can't afford a device they have no chance of making their voice be understood.
They should be free. It's just asking for a stutterer to live a horenndous life because they can't afford a device..
beautiful ears!

@MEtalliceleven The device can range to thousands of dollars. If you don't have over $2000.00 laying around then don't bother purchasing the device.
