  • Aaaa...mazing! ;)

  • the best was the capturing of the frolicking tiger cubs and how one of them falls off to show us that the belly has hardly and colour- black and white like the zebra-- is there a connection there??

  • Bandhavgarh is known for having one of the densest populations of tigers in the country. It is one of the best places to witness the tiger in action with the highest density of tiger population for any wildlife park in the country. The park was a former hunting reserve of the royal family of Rewa. Prominent among other wild animals are Nilgai, Chital, Chinkara, Gaur, Sloth Bears and Wild Boar along with some 250 species of birds. Bandhavgarh was declared a national park in 1968.

  • Three tiger subspecies are already extinct, and a fourth is on its way

In the past century, the world has lost three of the nine tiger subspecies. The Bali, Caspian, and Javan tigers have all become extinct ... and many scientists believe the South China tiger is functionally extinct.

  • Again a great production Chinmaya!

Hunters, traders, and poor local residents whose main means of subsistence comes from the forest, are wiping out the tiger and the natural prey upon which it depends. While poaching for trade continues to menace the tiger's survival, perhaps the greatest long-term threats are the loss of habitat and the depletion of the tiger's natural prey. Large commercial plantations have replaced a lot of tiger habitat in several tropical range countries.

  • Great images, sad fact at the end. Is there a way to get your music I hear playing during the video? Greetings from The Netherlands, where tigers only live in the hearts of children and weary travelers.

  • Thanks Chinny, what awesome creatures

    with love from wales

    prakash

  • Magnificent Chinmaya! Thanks!

  • Thankyou Chinmaya & all, what a beautiful way to start my day.....so much magnificance...Love Ma Divyo

  • The Tiger and offspring were very beautiful in their natural environment. To see the love and playfulness amongst the family was awesome. Amazing you actually caught the Tiger spraying its territory. The water shots of the cats were lovely. It was very touching Chini. To go from 40,000 in 100 years to less than 2,000 Tigers it is not to late to change the downward spiral. I will post this on my site. Mahalo for sharing it with me.

    Aloha,

  • Hi Carmie,

    Love

    Chinni

  • Thanks Chiny,

Nice one. What beautiful beings they are.

    I enjoyed the music too.

Is it just my computer or are the levels go up and down?

They are so like the little domestic cats we have... but I wouldn't try stroking one!

  • Beautiful Creature, thanks for this wonderful video.
