no, it's very understandable, There's two sides, Offense and Defense, on offense, there's the QB, behind him is usually two Running backs, Tailback and the Fullback, who run to score, Wide Receivers who catch to score, the O-Line who protects the QB, and the Tightend who is a mix of o-line and receiver

On defense the D-line tries to take out the QB to stop scoring, Linebackers are the primary defense against the pass and rush, Cornerbacks defend receivers from catching

These people that are saying that Madden 11 sucks are the same people that will buy Madden 12. The thing is I think this game really test your skill. On the PS2 it was so easy that on some games I scored over 100. Now it's not so easy to score. The one thing that I will say is, I don't care who you are, no one breaks 6 damn tackles.
