  • @thezoeystar123 If you can get to Melbourne, it is showing at the Queer film Festival on 21 March 2012.

  • @imreadyyo26 ah, now you see - you're the one who really needs to see this stuff ..Don't be an idiot - at least attempt to educate yourself..

  • @imreadyyo26

    STFU.

  • @DunklenHerzen dont hate me because im telling the truth. i know it hurts, but i aint tryin to here

  • @imreadyyo26

NO YOU'RE IGNORANT, that's what's up. It was first publicized by the media to intend it to be a "gay disease" when in fact during those early years, drug users, women and heterosexual couples of drug users were also getting HIV and AIDS. Sorry to tell you the truth. These facts will boggle your mind but you'll live through it and be a better person because now you know.

  • @DunklenHerzen ignore the troll

  • I want to see this so bad, If I can't watch it in my local theater I'll look everywhere online for it. Can this be purchased online anywhere?

  • @Allen10579 You could look them up on Facebook, they have a page there.

  • Looks amazing. Sad that it is only in "select theaters". Although I know if it were widely released, only a target audience and a handful of other interested parties would go see it, but a film like this should be viewed by (and available) to all. This is something not to be forgotten, and needs to be reintroduced to those who were or are to young to know what this was like when it first started so they can be educated and the world can be reminded we still have a long way to go in the fight.

  • 1:14 I didnt know Guy Pearce was gay

  • @MessiaH1009 He's not!! He's been married for 14 years to his wife!

  • I've heard the same! Shame!

  • I heard 25,000 people died, before Reagan ever mentioned the word AIDS in public?

  • @TheRadicalreels At the very least!

  • @TheRadicalreels 1987

    41,027 persons are dead and

71,176 persons diagnosed with AIDS in the US.

After years of negligent silence, President Ronald Reagan finally uses the word "AIDS" in public. He sided with his Education Secretary William Bennett and other conservatives who said the Government should not provide sex education information.Leading of course to more deaths and misinformation.
