actually, the only weapon that is not made in the US arsenal is the AT4. and that is swiss made weapon. Other than that, im pretty sure from being around the techs and weapons through my marine years, it says made in the USA.

Well if you look at Iraq, its definetly not the same as it used to be 2,3, or even 4 yrs ago. So yea ill think about Afghanistan quite positively actually. Dont mix between the stupid ass bankers who filled their pockets up with money and went overboard with lending. That was the culprit of the recession, not the wars. Because it's a fallacy that wars "uplift" an economy. They don't. None ever have. WWII didn't uplift the American economy, it just destroyed all our competitors and gave us a decade of completely uncontested industrial and commercial dominance that we'd basically been coasting on until fairly recently.
Government spending, whether it's war or that Section 8 housing you live in, always drags down a productive economy. It's just that war is usually necessary for other reasons.

Actually, I believe a US company produces the AT4 on a license. It's a Swiss design, but American made now. Like the cannon on the M1A1 Abrams is a German design from Rheinmetal, but produced in the US on license.
