What? Organic Farming is more productive? So farmers are using fertilizers just for fun and selling the Inorganic products way cheaper than organic ones for love??
@KOBAGYI I don't think organic way of producing crops is more productive in anyway. The very foundation of it, is to produce without chemical fertilizers or without using seeds that are genetically modified. Without these agents that highly promote crops to bear more fruits than their inherent potential, they are obviously less productive. You could argue that organic method still involves the use of organic fertilizer as manure.
@KOBAGYI But, in terms of health safety, as one of the crop growers in this video said, it's an unparalleled;they don't, in any way, harm your health because there's no chemical to worry about. Look at what GM/highly fertilized crops do to people in western world. Some people are suffering strange allergic reactions to some foods - such as peanut allergy, lactose allergy, gluten allergy. These are very uncommon in our country.
200 years ago, everything was "organic" in Burma, but now they use a lot of Chinese fertilizers. I predict that Inlay lake will become very polluted.
