To put things into perspective, I consider myself VERY lucky with my Fiero purchase. I paid $1100 cash for a 1985 Fiero GT, fully loaded with every single option availible. Being a GT means it has the 2.8 V6 which ran great. (I say ran because... Well... Check my uploads and see. I DONT blame the car though, shit happens.) Mine had a flawless interior when purchased, brand new clutch, cleaned and refreshed engine, and no real flaws. The paint even shines! I love it!
@evilgopherproduction Ehhh I'm not really sure, although I know the early fiero's with the iron duke were more about handling than speed...somewhere in the 85-100 range? Its got the 80's gov't mandated 85 mph speedo lol
@explodingpirate2 I had an 87 2M4 and i topped out at about 135mph. Thats a guess though. The speedo only goes to 85... I was wrapped around to about 30mph again. At that speed the front end lifts and steering is light. Not suggestable if you dont have a bag of cement or at least a spare tired up in the front =s
@Todd82TA even though there cheesy, they are indeed quite rare, therefore they will be fully restored in the original material ;) i wouldnt ruin it haha....
Damn you are lucky. Who the hell would give a Fiero away for 100, and in that condition!

You lucky SOB! You could have a custom painted, v8 Fiero for under $10k. Doesn't happen very often.

P.S. My GT with the 4 speed manual was track rated to top out at right about 135 MPH. Not bad, huh?

@explodingpirate2 would it be to expensive if i bought one at 5000 and with 25 k miles on it? its an 85
evilgopherproduction 1 year ago
@evilgopherproduction wow, with that low of mileage, it would be a great investment as long as you kept the mileage down,

@obeyance You pushed a 2m4 to 135? fucking props dude. My Formula has trouble getting up to 110 let alone maxing the speedometer at 120 =|

Just an FYI, that "cheesy lambskin interior" is an extremely rare option. Heheh...

@Todd82TA How rare is that interior? I just bought one with it with 47993 miles for 500 with that interior.

That will be a nice car when done. Nice score. Good luck with it.
