  • Clutch is the shit!!! Neil Fallon is a GOD. Continue to lay down those bad ass beats for all of us stoners.

  • getting super fucking drunk..this song gets better and better. try it.

  • Just saw them live... My life is now complete.

  • @ballzunhairy ....... I guess they call it stoner rock for a reason.

  • @ballzunhairy who gives a shit?

  • Nothing can beat the first two albums, the last 6 sound relativly similar. They have stopped using there versitility. Long live old clutch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ballzunhairy The statement above me is untrue.

  • @nonicknamekid2010 The statements above are 100% pure columbian truth. Why do you think the gay community adopted this song as there offical national anthem. Old honest ab is historys first famous bi-sexual. He was turning mens brown eyes blue when the white man was turn brown people free.

  • @ballzunhairy I was talking about you saying the last 6 albums all sound too similar....... I guess I didn't realize where my comment would end up I meant below. And yes I know this, I did a speech on Non-theists in America and Honest Abe was one of them, in fact he despised Christianity.

  • @nonicknamekid2010 Well its just my opinion, i can except yours. But one time i was in this bar with my friend todd when an inebriated homosexual male came burshing through the door to play this inparticular clutch song 39 times on the jukebox before whisking away our male bartender for a little midnight climax. I was left feeling slightly disgusted and cofused. Why would clutch do this to me? Why? I bet they were listening to this song during and after the hard yet sensual night of ass play.

  • I love Clutch and will always love Clutch. Does anyone else miss old Clutch though?.. I yearn for the days of Binge & Purge again.

  • @KnightBanneret Those days won't ever be the same they(Clutch) were so young and all the stuff pre 95' was a completely different because they were so young and the music was much more primitive but had that groove behind it in the riffs ,bass , and drumming that you still hear today. I prefer the late 90's early 2000's Clutch albums like Slow Hole and PRF.

  • Guess who is gonna carry a huge ass beat box and be Abe Lincoln this Halloween? ME!

  • I dont even know what to kill this... Its sort of metal, I dont even know. Its pretty kickass though.

  • @telmacblack it's good ol' rock and roll man

  • @telmacblack I heard someone else call it "honkey rock", it seemed sort of fitting to me.

  • @hopeechangee redneck shit for sure. fucking pure rock.

  • It's obvious it's legit music if it can get different types of responses from people.

  • Anyone who likes Clutch is worth EVERYONE'S attention.

  • Great song.

    Stupid comments.

  • Haha the two dislikes must have been some goddamn southern redneck KKK bitch! Fucking coward faggots!

  • @DamnJap45 Clutch ain't every ones cup of tea... Be cool... Jam on.

  • @methusehlah

    This.

  • Comment removed

  • @DamnJap45 -Perhaps it was some goddamn yankee redneck KKK members.

  • You can call an assassin a lot of things, but not a coward imo.

  • @bull068

shoot an unsuspecting man in the back of the head...sounds cowardly to me

  • Abes beard was almost as epic as Neils... almost.

  • wowzers!!! WHOOPNESSSSS!

  • Homeless Christ 02 Colloquium minute 7: on Abraham Lincoln

  • they should play this song on the radio for 24hrs every presidents day on every radio station!!!!

  • "i have discovered the body of john wilkes booth"...

  • @zemlyashostage "everybody gotta make a livin somehow"...

  • Wheres my "Dodge Swinger 1973?"

  • Hebrews 11

  • I like the old style movie effect on the video. It's not much but I still like it

  • if you aren't bangin or movin at least a little... you must dead... one of the greatest bands ever... I have a hard time deciding between Clutch and Tool

  • @FedorfaN79 well they are two different styles of music.

  • i would love to see Clutch doing a soundtrack for a film

  • Sounds just like the Soggy Bottom Boys on a Prozac bender...Man of constant weight...

  • 2 people have absolutely no taste in music. Super Stoked about the show with maylene at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh

  • These guys are so awesome, they can make a song about anything and it would be EPIC.

  • @ole88bluegmc Check out Pit 42, We're heavily influenced by Clutch! Check out our Tunes!

  • Happy Presidents Day!

  • And this is an anti-war song, apparently

  • Clutch is a band formerly known as God

  • one time i was told the sign of the band , in the way its writen , its something meaningful in an other language , something arabic i think but im not sure , somoeone know more about it ???

  • @TheCrowbar666 look closer. Its English, written in arabic style font.

  • This is perfect background music to kill zombies, nazis or terrorists to.

  • @DJStimpy Add communists to the list and you've got a deal.

  • @LeBeastee Even though you probably don't want to believe it... Without communists we'd probably all be under nazi control right now.

  • @GuitarGuru1125 Be that true or be that not true. Communists are still bad guys. So kill them.

  • @LeBeastee that be true my friend. but communists aren't the bad guys.... not now at least.

  • @GuitarGuru1125 Well I mean...I don't wanna turn this into a political discussion....but they're always the bad guys...

  • @LeBeastee haha. but anyway this song is so sick. I was lucky enough to see them live with Black Label Society and Children of Bodom a few months ago. I was on the floor and my chest was hurting so bad after because i was pressed to the barricade the entire time

  • @GuitarGuru1125 That sounds like the greatest night ever.

  • @LeBeastee T'was a great one my friend. But my favorite show was Alice in Chains. That blew my fucking mind

  • great band , great songs . amazing

    brilliant words clutch for life

how many albums do they have ??

  • Saw them with Black Label Society, Children of Bodom and 2Cents, and they put on the best show, second only to Black Label Society!!! Blew the other two openers out of the water!!!

  • @JAKEWORLEY i saw them too and i totaly agree. 2cents and children of bodom didn't even come close to clutch's awesome performance

  • saw them on wednesday, and you haven't heard this track until you've heard it live! Outstanding!

  • Comment removed

  • They remind me of Corrosion for Conformity.

  • @rj4655 your right they got that similar southern swagger as certain nola sludge metal/stoner blues projects

  • Clutch never disappoints.

  • You should see them in concert they are amazing!!!!!

  • Saw em a few months ago in Boston, they did there entire self titled album, it was amazing. Love just about everything they do.

  • This stuff is brilliant! I worked at a paper with a news reporter who loved these guys. I had never heard them till recently. Wow! So hard to find real rock and roll these days. This and John Davis' (SuperDrag) solo stuff is about the most real rock I've heard in a long time. Audio Adrenaline had some good rock albums too(check out Bloom) and you might think I'm joking but the Lavender Fudge Experience songs from What Ever Happened to Robot Jones were totally epic!

  • Awesome song

  • This may be the best Clutch song ever! Ever!

  • The extra minutes of silence are so we can reattach our faces and clean the wet spot from our jeans.

  • @TheEndKing I'm laughing so hard I just shit myself........ priceless!

  • @TheNickSmithey: OHHH, ABRAHAM LINCOLN! NICKSMITHY JUST SHIT HIM-SELF!!

  • @TheEndKing

    That was so wrong...

  • @DJStimpy: Can't be wrong when it's the truth, man.

But I hear what you're saying. And btw, zombies ARE terrorists, and are about as tolerant as Nazis.

  • @TheEndKing Check out Pit 42, We're Heavily influenced by Clutch. We may also make your pants all wet and such! Bahaha Rock on!

  • @burnabeeforme Quit posting all over Clutch videos you don't sound anything like them

  • One of my new favorites by the sonic awesomeness that is Clutch!

Let us chug beer in their honor!

  • without a doubt FREAKONOMICS is badass with Minotaur, Motherless child and 50,000 watts making up the rest of my STRANGE COUSINS favorites.

  • Some research later... uh yeah Lincoln was the father of federal power and we know how seriously misguided and abusive it has become.

These people wish to put forth the thought that keeping the union together was their only regard which I strongly dissagree with and also that it was and still is the most important regard of federal authority yet the only reason for the fed was to ensure the rights of the free states....doh!

Have we learned nothing while being taught everything?

  • ZEITGEIST MOVIE & CLUTCH!!! :D

  • ps ps: for those interested, almost all US Cavalry in the west were ex-Union men! almost all the cowboys were ex-Rebs! you can imagine the saloon fights! ive seen the old photos. the two yankees bloated up fast in that Kansas summer! as the town folk walked around them layin on the board walk. it was nuthin new to them. a daily occurance.

  • @acerb45666555

.......ps's don't make for an exuse to not think of everything in one comment box.............sum it up mate

  • which part?

  • @acerb45666555

the whole think lol. That's alot of reading......must people will lose interest

  • ps: in the old days, Cavalry officers often created "Incidents" so they could nail natives who didnt even do anything! they wanted to score points and build theyre careers! laughin it up over theyre brandy! = pigs!

  • @acerb45666555 hate was a very big problem then, no one seemed capable of even controlling it, yet Lincoln walks in and shows everyone just how merciful he can be (though not without a price). A very godly man. And very rugged and intelligent. No one even knew how he could forgive people who were so intent on not giving up their livelihood after so many young men were mercilessly slain. No one could comprehend it, then they lost the man who could and did.

  • Booth was a Freemason! Connect the dots(Illuminati/Secret society).

  • @W3PO ...wha?

  • free slaves/consolidate power/kill natives great man

  • NEOPEAKOIL........the native thing was and is very complicated. many factions involved. hard to say who wants what. as for Lincolns policies concerning natives, the policies went over board. not enough control on white greedy, "Indian Agents". who burned natives alot. which pissed them off. and they leave reserve. then settlers whine to governor who whine to washington, then army come, bad shit happens, this went on alot!!

  • @acerb45666555 the natives however were an everyday part of life. The nation was literally falling in on itself by pure malice. And as soon as Lincoln dies though, it just seems to stop. Funny...death can really sober one up quick can't it?

  • an observation:..if any ones thinkin that John Wilkes Booth is a southern icon, think again. many a southerner wanted his head for what he did. and besides, after the war, instead of punishing Rebs, he said, "go on home, the fightins done"! Lincoln was a thinker!!

  • i like how each clutch fan has as a distinct personal favorite album. that's cause each album has their own sound/groove to it.

(mine is the self-titted by the way- can't beat 'spacegrass' 'big news' 'i have the body...' and 'texan book of the dead'.....)

  • Yeah, I found myself singing 'I have the body of John Wilkes Booth' in the car a few days ago- having such a good time that everyone I saw smiled back at me. Good music is real magic!

  • @mn82c

hell yeah brother, i just saw them last night! so good!

they played a few songs from this album, then did the whole self-titled album from start to finish, left and the crowd was cheering for them and they came back and did a few more newer songs then closed with 'gravel road' with a jean-paul drum solo to end off.

  • @nyrangers731 I agree, cant forget, tight like that, and rock n roll outlaw.

  • I'm so glad Clutch IS.

(And God DAMN, his singing is delicious!)

    Thanks for posting this.

  • Great song!

  • thanks for posting this. im buying the album tomorrow. These guys are the best band ever!!

  • i still dont think they can ever top blast tyrant.

  • @jamiebrask no way blast tyrant was 3rd 1st is elephant riders then pure rock fury than blast tyrant

  • I'm going with "Clutch", "Transnational Speedway League" and "Pure Rock Fury".

  • Transnational Speedway. by far

  • Until the TV ads Id never heard of this band.....here I sit listening to a new favorite band for me,thinking this is getting into fav band ever status.....damn these guys are great.

  • these guys rock i first heard there song electric worry on the L4D2 commericial but all of there songs rule =)

  • @82ndarmy haha ^^ me2 now its one of my fav. bands

  • i been jammin this shit since they was playing little places in maryland and wv..keeps gettin better

  • All there albums are unique and have a sound all there own. They are brilliant artists. Best band ever.

  • Strange Cousins From The West.

    Best album by far.

  • robot hive is the best clutch album although I listen to jam room more than any other

  • statistics are like mini skirts - they look good but they cover the important parts

  • 80% of statistics are made up

  • By whom? For what reason?

I basically said the same thing so why do you feel the need?

I said the same thing yet pointed at UNDENIABLE INEQUALITY and your point would be?

The Truth is very bothersome indeed.

  • only 14% of people know that

  • This song is fucking outstandingly good.

  • yes. yes it is

  • Sublime simplicity in lyrics evoking such emotion. Haven't heard many who consistently put out music that is about the music. Keep singing and we'll keep listening.

  • the badass riff doesn't hurt this songs' cause either!!! who knew it was even possible to write a song about lincoln that actually rocked? leave it to Clutch...

  • I love this shit

  • CLUTCH brings it every album...plus you get a history lesson when you listen to CLUTCH's music..how many bands can say that...long live the SOAPMAKERS!!!

    CLUTCH for LIFE!

  • speaking of the soapmakers, whats that song referencing???

  • JPG is king.

  • Amazing so damn good love Clutch such great musicianship, and lovely bluesy sound still fucking heavy at the same time!

  • can`t wait to see them again..! class act for sure one of the best live band you will ever see.

  • Some might not agree. But they can never top the self titled album. They put out a lot of good stuff since, but I think the self titled was their greatest work.

  • I'll agree with you.

  • For all of you who gave me the thumbs down, if the self titled album isn't their greatest work, then what is?

  • jam room is their best album, of course

  • You're absolutely right! Although Blast Tyrant is also F'ing brilliant.

  • Guys, it's all about Robot Hive Exodus

  • Fraid it's all about transnational

  • @deadseamonster Blast Tyrant is stellar from start to finish. One of the most solid Clutch albums. Cypress Grove, La Curandara, The Regulator, Eulogy of the ghost, Swollen Goat, Promoter, Subtle Hustle. Simply amazing.

  • hands down the greatest rock n roll band to ever see live!!!!

  • clutch rulzzzzzzzzzz

  • @emcmw i'm seeing them live tonight for my first time, f'n pumped

  • Gloriously epic song....Clutch can make a 5 minute song sound like a 20 minute prog rock epic, but bearable :)

  • Good bands besides Clutch? Check out Shrinebuilder(Wino + Scott Kelly + Dave Crover), Neurosis, Down, Baroness, Rwake, Sourvein.

  • +1 for Down.

  • This song is SO FUCKIN" GOOD!!!

  • why 7 more days? damn!

  • MWA HA!! Dunno what happened, but I got it on the 7th, which was the original release date...The store had ordered like 30 copies, and only one came in...Mine. >: )

  • bad ass

  • Amazing track. Can't wait for the album

  • best band in the world in my opinion. I can't find much music I like. Any good recomendations besides Clutch?

  • What else do you listen to, if anything?

  • if you like tis kind of thing try, queens of the stone age, kyuss and some stoner rock

  • Down, Grand Magus, Kyuss, Black Stone Cherry, Black Label Society...

  • You can try The Bakerton Group, which features the members of Clutch (and only the members of Clutch), with pure instrumental music.

Or, I suppose, The Company Band, which features Neil Fallon at the vocals. I'm not too fond of their music, in comparison to Clutch, but Neil still makes it feel like Clutch. Spellbinder isn't too bad of a song, though.

  • i dig dead meadow

  • that was ment 4 jab...didn't post rite...

  • @jab502 Clutch are incredible live too. There's tonnes of bands with the doom blues sound. Kyuss, Unida, Hermano, Colour Haze, Amplifier, Monster Magnet, Karma to burn, spirit caravan to name but few.

  • @jab502 Atomic Bitchwax, Nebula, Kyuss, Split Hoof

  • @jab502 submerge your self in high on fire and electric wizard and see where you go

  • @jab502 mindless self indulgence ,jack off jill ,lords of acid, suicidal tendencies, the urge, jah roots , slightly stoopid just to name a few good luck

  • @jab502 Well the drummer gets a lot of his inspiration from led zeppelin. I'd say that that's a pretty good choice.

  • @jab502 Muse

  • @jab502 metallica

  • @jab502 Dinosaur Jr. is one of my favorites, though they aren't as bluesy as Clutch, J. Mascis is a total badass on lead guitar. Also Black Keys are some sweet sludgey blues-based rock.

  • @jab502

  • Is it July 7th yet??!!! Can't wait for this to arrive.

  • Who else but Clutch could give a metal edge to Mr Lincoln? The sound on this record is so tight. Guitar intense, and JP fuckin on his 19th century drum roll....lol. I dare say Clutch is aging like a fine wine...another dose of pure rock fury!

  • I am soooo fucking pumped for their new album!!!

  • Yessir, one of the best... saw em live in Norfolk last month. Met Neil and he was cool.

  • I think this is the best song off Strange Cousins from the West and one of thier best songs yet. Heard them play it live in Charleston and was blown away.
