Milk Cow Blues - The Kinks [London, England] - 1966 - "This song was covered by The Chocolate Watchband. This song was covered by many bands with good results." - The Ep Collection [07/10]: The Kinks In Sweden.
dont compare them to the stones beatles doors pink floyd zappa or anyband of the 60/70's their all great and appreciate all of them instead of little wayne and fucking shit cunts like lady gaga and other douches which arent worth mentioning. fuck me im such an out cast from my peers haha
@cattyrox01 not really. Elvis´ version is a cover of an old blues song by James "Kokomo" Arnold, but i would say that The Kinks covered this song more after The Kings example.
i love it when dave sings, i love it when ray sings, i love them both so much...it's impossible not to...i can only appreciate, in awe. those two share some mighty damn good genes.
@drakenfik ...than what? You can't compare the KinKs and the Stones-they were and are still great, but definitely different styles of music. At least Ray is still writing, rocking and his voice sounds better than it did when he was 20. Dave, in spite of a stroke, is also still recording and something new is coming soon. Ray's released 3 CD's in the past 3 years and he's touring worldwide- I wish the Stones would at least try to record a few new songs if they still have the desire.
best kinks song :]

love the guitar solo as it builds, and after all that .....

I've been listening to this on Kinks Kontroversy, over and over, on the bus ride to work! It's a great way to wake up at 6 AM, LOL.

A few interviewees and commenters have said the Kinks suck at blues. I don't agree at all, and this track is one reason why.

Yes it is

Actually, it's Dave singing first, then Ray is singing second verse before solo, then Dave again. :)

@maida1982a - Dave is singing the first verse. RAY is singing the second verse. Then Dave comes back on the 3rd verse
