I miss the old interface too. The only thing I didn't like was the ads that often obscured the background... now we have a huge ugly grey slab obscuring most of it anyway, and a dozen "clicks" (button presses just to get to menu items we want, all through a "cute" interface I think looks very ugly indeed. The console itself is great, but the new interface is seriously a poorly-thought-out eyesore. Not being able to start in "My Xbox" is pathetic, too.
