Jade should've at least brought one or two animals, but certainly not the whole set. She can't even use them all effectively. The tiger would split into its good and bad halves, and the bad half could potentially attack the children; you can't prove the horse can heal without beating on it, which would be animal abuse; the sheep would just look dead; the rabbit could potentially run off; etc.

Not to mention the evil wizard that is looking for their powers.

Actually it's the fact that she causes unnecessary trouble that makes her so believable.

The end result is that you either like her for her entertainment value or character, or you dislike her because she's a total hassle or her character.

Regardless, the fact that we can form our opinions about a capable but flawed character is a definite plus on the side of this show. And usually the whole JCA isn't about Jade, so the few Jade-centric episodes aren't bad.
