  • 4 gears worth of rubber? Lmao. You can hear it catch at the end of 2nd. That shit is slow

  • get some MOTOR MOUNTS buddy

  • it's pointless, stock sr20det will take this car down , the car is very slow ,

my friend has same car with 540hp which is not that much for that engine and the thing is that he drives it for the last 4 years with no problems , his car will be twice faster than this without all that headache you went through.

  • some of you guys are retarded...

rb's are cool but definately not the best motor for a 240. they are heavy as hell.

im gonna try out a vq35dett next season

  • oh man, no traction and motor mounts are iffy. need stiffer mounts so you can get all that power from get go. thats one hell of a car tho.

  • insulting some1 will not make u any smarter. y did he put the vq in it, simple, because he wanted to. go play with ur trans am or camaro and stop watching the vq clips if u dislike it.

  • ya any chance u can make like a forum about how u added it i was thinking about doing this for awhile but i hurd its tuff to make the VQ fit properly into the 240 :O

if u can plz give tips and stuff if u can ^__^

    thanks and Awesome video! :D

  • Did you modified the chasis or body in some way or did it fit with no problems? If so what problems did you confront?...Sick mod for a 240sx...

  • VQ's are the next best thing for 240's.

  • i disagree i think an ls1 would be best.

  • unless u have complete racing slicks, its pointless, its just a stupid power to weight ratio, i guess u can baby the throttle..... but its stil just to much, i think the an rb is best

  • The RB26 is too nose heavy for the 240sx.

  • Nah Rbs are the best thing for 240's

  • They're ALL best for the S chassis. Even the KA has potential if you've got the patience to tinker with it.

  • I wholeheartedly concur. A KA with a properly built bottom end can rev as high as any SR20 but can be a total torque monster at the same time while in lower revs. You can get a very nice stroker kit from Crower that will raise it to 2.7 liters which of course is ridiculous for a 4 cyl.

  • gotta love that VQ motor

  • nice. I've only ever seen it done on an S14 before. could you run a Jim Wolf supercharger on there?

  • Nice setup man, all of the VQ swaps in an S13 chassis i have known about untill now have had hood clearance issues.

  • As does the white car with High Compression VQ. I used a cowl hood setup on that one.

  • sound like you got too much fuel xD and your clutch doesnt sound like its gripping very hard.

  • It does look like that on the video. I honestly thaught that I was smoking the clutch too. Thing is, i was wrong. The tire tracks go all the way up the street. The clutch was new though, so I am suprised it actually held up.

  • what kind of mounts did u use

  • WOW! Very nice, probably the only one out there. I do remember seeing a VQ30dett in a 240 hatch on nico forums a while back. Hybrid(swap) cars FTW! RB20det represent.
