  • i wanna kiss it

  • OMG I wanna hold it! *o* ahem, I mean, she's very beautiful..indeed sir. :)

  • Beautiful blue

  • She's a pretty girl!

  • dont they bite?

  • @EricKarlyEly They can, as with all tarantulas. This spider has a reputation for being skittish and nervous. They're very fast, and you'll find that out the hard-way if you disturb them. BUT you can find docile individuals like the one in this video. Such a beautiful colourful spider (CHROMATOPELMA) Not too difficult to keep either, as @jsimison mentioned, once out of their enclosure they will become a lot less defensive. Great video, such an awesome spider.

  • she should get a lot bigger in a few years

  • Beautiful T you have their bro

  • Pretty

  • @TheKentRDhudson Thats your instincts tellling you that it's bad

  • @jsimison You have mentioned that once they are out of the cage they are in explore mode. How do you get them out of the cage in the first place?

  • beasty spider dude

  • ładna chromka

  • @amigos12032011 Nie zrozumie ;D

  • @mrskorpionful nice greenbottle blue :)

  • They are always so clumsy, just like mine xD

  • Aww shes so beautiful! :D where did you get her? :)

  • When they climb up your arm they feel alot heavier for some reason and you can feel every step... Even their fangs brushing against your arm as it's a flat surface as opposed to your hand

  • my grammostola vagans kicked hairs at me today :(

  • @seblue9999 What happens if it bites you?

  • @diesel094 You die immediately

  • She is gorgeous.

I want a tarantula but my missus says she'll never come near the house if I get one.

  • scientists are still trying to isolate the genetic defect that allows people to handle spiders....

  • Oh god, i have arachnid phobia gahh shivering at the thought of that...THING... shy away from them at reptile expos, man u have some guts. But I can see where someone (other than me) might think that it is "pretty"

  • Awhh, Pretty little spider <3

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Why are you not confortable when she goes on your arm? Is it dangerous?

  • @diesel094 It is a bit dangerous. The GBB is one of the more aggressive tarantulas.

  • @skidils are you in elementary school?

  • @DirtySanchez728 Haha I think he's mentally challenged

  • i got one its about 2 inches fromm now

  • IF I WAS WIH TATH SPIDER I WOULD CRAP IN THE PANTHS

LOOCK AT THE SIZE OF TATH MONSTROSTITY

if i were u i would killed the spider

i know a friend tath had a taranthula not a big one.. just the standart one the not poision

one day it esaped from the cage don't knwo how and eat my friend's face!! hes in hoospital with an unfigured face he's like a beast he now has a worse face then the spider who bitted him and his mother got bited 2 cause she fainted when she saw his boy being eated by the spider

  • shes beutifull such vivid colors

  • Aren't you afraid of being bitten?

  • How many snakes have you?

  • Awh.. i want one ^_^

  • is that spider a gators fan?

  • wow shes beutiful

  • I want a tarantula but it looks scary AF.

  • that is one heck of a docile green bottle blue! you got lucky with that one.

  • @tangoblueyt Nah, shes's a spazz. Its all about how calm and gentle you can be when handling them, and reading the spiders body language. Once they're out of the cage and in your hands its as though they switch to "explore mode". This can be accomplished with even the most aggressive spiders.

  • @jsimison try telling that to my chillean rose. I know they are probably literally THE most docile species you can ever get but she trys to bite if you touch her. I think she has a screw loose though :)

  • @tangoblueyt omg i was thinking the same thing! i've wanted one of these for years but was willing to settle for one more docile. I'm more confident in getting a green bottle blue now!

  • so far this is my next prospect!!

  • Have you ever been bitten by her yet?

  • Umm excuse me sir I hate spiders but that was actually really pretty except for all the fur and the fact that oh yeah it's a spider

  • @Pilot9r the lighter coloured spot is probably from your T flicking its urticating hairs so it's balding a bit in that area. If the spot starts to darken it's probably getting ready to molt :)

  • TARANTULA'D!!!

  • Nice bit of east London accent thrown in there.

  • awww adorable!

  • I'm terrified of spiders, but this one spider looks real nice for some reason

  • She is beautiful!!! What temperament do these kind generally have?

  • Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens

  • i would love to have one of this, but i cant find any in my country on sale :(

  • She's so beautiful! I had a male GBB for about five years until he died of old age. I really hope to get a female next time. It's sad how short the life spans are for the males. He was such an amazing pet. Thanks for sharing yours with us. :)

  • i HATE spiders but i wouldnt mind these they look awesome

  • kiss it

  • I want one :)

  • What a beauty! Deffinitely, one of the smartest spiders in the world beside the cobalt blue, the Avicularias, and the Gooty sapphire. And then ignorants and arachnophobics dare say that tarantulas are black... But, how does it feel having one of these spiders walking by your arm? Is it itchy? Does it tickle you?

  • How do these Tarantulas tolerate handing?

  • I got a pink salmon bird eater a few days ago that is about the size of a quarter. today i noticed that its abdomen has a blotchy spot that is a lighter color than the brown that it was a couple of days ago. Do you have any idea what that might be from?

  • My green bottle is about 5 inches and I get it out a lot. What is the easiest way to tell if it's a male or female?

  • She is sooo beautiful!

  • she's so cute!!! :D i want one!!

  • "Andddd I'm totally not comfortable with her going up my arm" Haha made me chuckle dude.

Nice T you have there. I've only handle one ever. G Rosea. Can understand why as it's a docile T. Got a P. Murinus L2 and I now have a sub-adult H. Lividium on the way. one extreme to the other ;)

  • Nice spider i have a sling of it

  • Very nice

  • haha 0:12 "should I go? "

  • Absolutely gorgeous.

  • She's GORGEOUS!!!

  • I thought those were quite aggressive?"

    HAs it ever bitten you?"

  • @NekkroQu33n you really fail at using quotations...and tarantulas don't bite humans

  • cool how she could tell u were getting nervous

  • Ive just ordred my GBB spriderling! :D

  • females are larger

  • What a little jewel she is!

  • GORGEOUS!!!

  • Man I want one of these sooo badly! But can't find them in my area >_<

  • Wow the person filming the video must reeeaaalllyyyy be afraid of arachnids lolol

  • @phasmatodea1 Wow loooooooook at the rest of my tarantulaaaaaaa videosssssssss lolololololol

  • Do me a favor please...go look at my GBB and tell me how old you think she is....I am just curious cause ive only had her for a month now

  • Where can I buy a baby one......please help me

  • .....and i'm totally not comfortable with her crawling up my arm.

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

  • hey can someone answer this question please?? i heard that if you drop a tarantula that you cant hold it again.. is that true???

  • thats huge

  • Beautiful!

  • this kind bite is like a bee sting... however the one i plan on buying has fangs as big as a cheetah claw

  • @killerslayer543

Thank you, you made my day :')

    Ahahahahahahhaha

  • @SirDontHack :3

  • That is a beautifully colored spider

  • WTF bro that shits creepy as! what if it bites you? that would fucking kill? dase it trust you? fucking crazy!

  • @MyFriendMyGuardian tarantulas aren't poisonous

  • @yomama629

yes they are,its just their venom is not very powerfull against us,some are very harmless

  • Nice one man I plan to get one soon for now I have a rose hair

  • hey jsimison! You seem pretty knowledgeable in the area of tarantulas, recently I've been handling my friends, and was thinking of getting my own. What kind of tarantula would you recommend for a beginner, that still wants to handle it?

  • beautiful spider

  • how can this be female??

  • @RaniaFrancesca Lack of epiandrous fusillae, and hooks on the second joint of her front legs.

  • @jsimison hmm.. i thought female tarantula back is much bigger then the male.. that's why i asked?

    its a beautifull tarantula btw.

  • @jsimison How old is it because they dont get there hooks until they mature!

  • @782Matty I'm not going to answer your question because it implies you think I don't know what I'm doing in this hobby. Checkout the video response, and read some comments bra.

  • @RaniaFrancesca how can it be male?

  • Beautiful spider dude! I have have a red knee

  • i never thought i would say this about a spider but...shes beautiful!

  • is that venomess

  • Awwhh!!! It's so cute!!!!! & calm... Rad!!

  • beautiful spider my friend!

  • Absolutely gorgeous. :) <3

  • God I want one of those!

  • I admire your trust, I really do. I don't think I'd feel that secure. Beatuiful girl!

  • did it tickle when she went up your arm

  • thats the coolest lookin spider ive ever seen! :D

  • She is beautiful. Don't you love how bright their color is not long after the molt? I'm stunned every time my GBBs molt. O.O

  • i always wanted one of these along with my list of T's i want :P

  • So beautiful. So very colourful. Amazing. I wish I was brave enough to have a T as a pit, but they still scare me a bit. If I was going to get one, I would start with a Mexican Red Knee. Very docile.

  • awesome! just ordered a sling before. cant wait till it gets to that size

  • Hey are those guys suitable for beginners?

  • @tonyfang888 I'd keep an easier species first.

  • @jsimison Are there any species as beautiful as this one that are suitable for beginners? What about the cobalt blue?

  • @jsimison what would you say makes these more for an intermediate there care or there temperament? Id really like to get one as my first t. and already have experience caring for 4 different reptiles and temperament isnt an issue because I dont intend to handle much. More for display.

  • @CrestedBoa I would say that it's definitely the temperament and un-predictability of this spider that makes it a difficult pet for people who lack experience. If you can stay calm when a tarantula sprints up an enclosure door and onto your arm then you'll do great.

  • @jsimison Ok I see thanks, ill have to think about it for a bit. If not ill probably get a mexican red knee then later on this.

  • @tonyfang888 no a suitable one would be a Mexican fire red-knee

  • ow it looks like a cobalt blue tarantula

  • P.S. Nice english accent there...

  • Dude I HATE spiders, but I must admit this one is gorgeous in color. Look at all the beautiful colors and color combinations. That is truly a kickass looking creature, even though spiders creep me thehell out!

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • is that cobalt blue tarantula

  • @CloudGuns No =P

  • do they like never bite?

  • @BobbynubMaster this species of spider almost ALWAYS bites. Green Bottle Blue tarantulas are usually very aggressive, this one is just a little passive....which is very unusual for this species.

  • @ShadowHeart188 So ur sayin, all tarantulas owners get bit like no fucking other>? haha

  • @BobbynubMaster No XD I'm just saying you need to be careful with this species. Its normally a look but don't touch spider =) there are plenty of owners who have never been bitten.

  • @ShadowHeart188 Its a look but dont touch, i say this as im making a video of it crawling up my arm. HAHA im just messon with ya lol has it ever bit u?

  • @BobbynubMaster No =) but I know many who would if given the chance. The nasty blue devils <3

  • cool but ugly I have arachnid phobia

  • That's some good HD quality!!

  • such a beautiful creature!

  • would it be smart to have a pet spider with another pet?

  • @krittentun269 NO. They are solitary secretive creatures aside from a couple types of communal tarantula's (that can only be housed with other members of the same species).

  • @jsimison lol she is not bitting you? idk if i said right xD

  • she is absolutely beautiful!!!!!! I am trying to find one to buy for my dad as I have grown up with these most amazing creatures! If you could refer me to a site or store that is of good quality I would be most greatful!

  • has u ever been biten?

  • I didn't realize you can hold GBBs!

I guess you can do whatever you want in America though, right? ;)

  • Beautiful!

  • Wowww it´s so pretty :)

  • =O beautiful!

  • wow beautiful tarantula

  • How do you get here to be so calm?? everytime I have handled a cobalt they get VERY aggressive I cant even go near them!!

  • @dawnhappy Its a Green Bottle Blue.... Do you realy handle cobalts? o.O

  • @dawnhappy

That's because it's a cobalt. Cobalts shouldn't be handled because they are so aggressive. I'm surprised they wouldn't have told you that one your got him or her. They're more of a collector's pet just because of the inability to handle them. I mean, you totally could... but it wouldn't be pretty if you tried.

  • can they bite you and how do they feel threatened?.... like if someone is yelling will they get offensive and you?and one more question are they venomes

  • dude, thats still a long way for ur T to fall by the looks of it

  • how bad are they? are they a good beginner T?

  • @knglee3rd Yes this is a good beginner Tarantula. It's easy to take care of, hardy, and has a semi-docile personality.

  • gorgeous

  • I love these things, they are so beautiful.I want one

  • everyone who is a tarantula owner knows this but i guesss u don't since ur an idiot...but ur not supposed to blow on ur tarantula ...that is something a predator does...so whenever u blow on them...they take it as a threat...u idiot...

  • Absolutely gorgeous! I love it! Good luck!

  • gorgeous!

  • Whenever one of my T's crawl up to where i dont want them,I just lightly blow on em,and they would probably go the other direction, though i only tried these with docile and skittish T's not too sure bout aggressive one

  • mine is really agressive. I can't handle but I prefer looking at her =)

  • Fuck that!! Stomp that shit man!!!!

  • @jtaimeht Thanks for sharing how you feel about your ability to reproduce (I agree 100%)...but what are you're thought on this gorgeous C. cyaneopubescens?

  • Que preciosa esta

  • wat did it cost u?

  • They seem so friendly.

  • she's not aggressive, is she? also.. is that how big she'll get and are males smaller or about the same size as her?

  • :44 tattoo moment.

  • lol i'll keep that in mind!

  • One of my fave species. Have you managed to breed them yet? I've done it 3 times, but lost the eggs every time.

  • beautiful t. man id really love to have one some time

  • Beautiful T! She is very neat... Was thinking of getting one myself. 30 dollars for a spiderling. Still thinking about it.... Awesome Tarantulas though.

  • r they mean?
