So glad to see you girl and your hair is BEAUTIFUL! As for the pretty girl hate...it's so true! I'm one of those women who is secure enough to tell another woman that she is beautiful because I enjoy beauty of all sorts. But sometimes beautiful women are very insecure because there are so many women out there that they need to have constant reassurance. As you said "big ups" to Halle for saying her daughter is black and not 1/4 this, 1/8 that etc. Halle has grown a lot and I'm happy for her.

Also I really don't see anything special about her saying her kid is black. So what? I don;t look at her kid as JUST black. The kid is bi-racial. Half and half. That's like mixing vanilla and chocolate ice cream together and saying it's just chocolate ice cream. The kid even looks bi-racial. For the most part all the bi-racial people I have seen all claim they are black and don't try to deny their "blackness" so it's really nothing new or special.

@AtlantaSistah Is this a joke question? So you honestly think Halle's kid does NOT look bi-racial and she looks full black? And I never said bi-racial people have a "special" look but there are people you can look at and tell they are biracial by their skin, hair, eyes etc. It depends on which parents genes are the strongest.

@AtlantaSistah Well that just goes to show blacks are quick and desperate to "claim" something of their own. There are some people you can look at them and tell they're bi-racial and they shouldn't have to choose sides. They are bi-racial HALF AND HALF and by them choosing basically means they are denying one part of themselves. Do a damn google search of halle's baby and you can look at her and tell she is bi-racial. You can't be that blind geez.

@DasFremde Yeah, I will agree. Some of us are desperste to claim folks. It may have something to do with the middle passage. Yeah. This is America. Things are kind of screwed up. It is a mindset. Don't know what else to tell you on that. There are folks in my family that are light and are very much Black. Skin tone does not tell biracial genes. Get a clue and do some studying.

@DasFremde I agree with you. It's like that new Uncle Ben's commercial where they say white rice is the new Brown rice. Her baby is more white than black in that Ms. Berry is half white and the baby daddy is totally white. The baby is about 3/4 white. I kinda think the baby is white. Anyway I think every biracial who gains notoriety is called gorgeous. I think it affects black women's self-esteem negatively.

@myrna2381 I agree.What the media pushes is that in order for a blk women to be considered beautiful,she must have an admixture,she cannot come from two blk parents.As far as Kim she is plastic . who's jealous of her looks?she paid for all of it,plus she's not blk.A white woman can be a whore and make millions and become a star.A blk woman is called Superhead and look down on.Also kim is white her race is white,her ethnicity is Armanian,and I never saw a pure blk child look like Halle's.

Not,needful but beautiful body. I don't like when ppl assume you're hating on them because they've exerienced it from other ppl. Everyone is'nt hating on her. I've seen more attractive men and women. She is'nt at the top of the list of gorgeous ppl (to me). I think she Is someone who has experienced unfortunate events in her life.

I loved this video...it's so true- people like to hate on pretty girls and see celebrities fail. Just looking at the comments below...damn this world is full of haters. No one can honestly say they think Kim and Halle aren't gorgeous...and ppl form opinions based on what they see in the media but like what you said- if we were ALL put on blast by the rest of the world, people would think we were crazy in relationships too.

I don't dislike Halle at all and don't rejoice over her problems. I always feel bad for her and wonder if it's true. The only time I rejoice is when the person thinks they are all that and have a perfect like like Gloria on Atlanta Housewives. (although not a "celebrity") As far as Kim Kardashian goes, I think she's pretty and has a killer shape but she seems to be a bit of a bimbo and brings her problems on herself. I don't care about her though or feel sorry for her lol

Why can't Halle be mean,crazy or unkind because she's pretty, so doesn't apply. I find it annoying the double standard of people defending someone based on looks. She is pretty & has dough but so what, apparrently it's not enough to make her happy and in a great relationship.
Kim K would probably be the same slutty girl with or without money!LOL So men will just treat her in the manner she behaves. I tell my daughters its up to you to build your reputation!
