If Barack Obama wins, I hope he appoints Michael Moore to Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare. We need someone who can safely assume this position without regards for special interests except the interest of the American people and the unfortunate millions who can't afford healthcare. The US spends Trillions on a burglar alarm system (defense dept.) meanwhile the people inside are dying from lack of food, healthcare and jobs.

Obama has not said anything different than Clinton regarding the Iraq war, just get most of the troops out in 12-18 months, leave some in to protect Bla Blah, sent more back in if there is more trouble (You KNOW there will be). We have messed up SO BAD, we'll leave it destroyed and a living war scene, but I would pull everyone out if I had my way, including all the huge military fotresses they've build there. Doctors in America are the richest and higest paid in the world. If you go to Canada, France or the UK you will find doctors that make a fraction of the money that they do here.

In many countries (most of them)they have NO CHOISE in healthcare and they pay high taxes for it. If Americans have a choise to pay for Universal Healthcare, they won't want it. All they need to do is to the hospital every time they are sick and then in the end refuse to pay for it.

It's PATHETIC that any doctor would deny healthcare to a sick child. what the hell ever happened to they hypocritical oath that doctors take? I understand that they need their money to survive and for insurance (malpractice), but for God's sake...their has to be something done in this country. People are suffering and DYING because they don't have healthcare. What has happened to our government that they don't care about their people?
