(Works wicked sick with Valmanway.) And I also miss the Killer Mantle soul to kill the Iron Golems with 1 shot.
Never thought to use the Bat Company soul to dodge the skulls. Then again, I never had much trouble dodging them in the first place. (Protip: Jumping won't work, move side to side.) Maybe I'll start a new playthrough soon.

Yeah, Death is pretty much the hardest boss in the game. What I did is I activated a maxxed Buer when he has the little scythes out, and pounded away with your best non-dark weapon. Dead Crusader is a good soul to use, as it reduces damage.

I have finished the game in 'Julius Mode' and passed 'The MoJ' and 'The Abyss' in 'Julius Mode'....but i dunno how to gain access to that part of the game on 'Normal Mode'.
Also on 'Julius Mode' i have noticed that next to the portal in 'The Mine of Judgement' area it looks like you can open up another new area....does anyone know how to enter it??
oh hell no!! the skull attacks got faster! good thing i am watching this so i can get the hell flame soul. i wonder if abbadon is harder? TIP to this guy who created this video. did you know if you use that on death and beat him under 7 minutes you will get death robe? trust me you definetley need that death robe.
I don't know about Hard Mode, I only finished the game with Soma and Julius. But for me, Death is an easy boss. I only used Durandal to finish it. No need for souls. Difficulf bosses that do need souls are Menace, Evil Soma and Abaddon.
Uh...thanks, I think. My MP regeneration rate is thanks to the Chaos Ring, while my Primary Boss Fighting Weapon is the Claim Solais. Everything achieved through hard effort; no cheating whatsoever.
I tried jumping. It was difficult. And in Hard Mode, this attack does insane damage, like 200+ each skull. And its comboable, since the skull's speed is increased as well. Meaning, if you do get hit, it's would do about 400-600 damage. I've died a few times cause of this.

No, the seal at the start was for the door. That one is automatic. It also kinda serves as a reminder as to which seal you're suppose to draw this time.
I know the seal at the start of the door is automatic. AFTER you beat death AFTER you KILL him. You draw the seal. And YOU drew a circle for the first part of the seal. (The hexagon)
i like this game, but after trying once to get all the souls (and eventually i got all) , i got tired and stop playing this game for a while, now im replaying without doing any kind of grinding or soul farming and the game became more enjoyable that trying to getting all the souls before finish the game before
it took you a lot of time to get all that souls and those weapons
did you use the succubus glitch?
you think he is hard, try fight him with a clear date in hard (no official way to do except by releasing all your souls,selling all your stuffs and buying and selling items until you got less that $100)
Upon beating Menace in Hard Mode, my final game time was around 24+ hours, so yeah. And no, I did not use the glitch. Hard effort, for Iron Golem(I now have about 3!), Final Guard, Erinys, Stolas etc. Some I lvld up (both GAA and Buer are at max) while those like Stolas I just left them at 1.
Only thing that could be better-Erinys soul instead of Great Axe Armor

with the persephone you can do extra damage while hitting with valmanway
it also gather the sickles
erinys is faster to cast as well
but nice one indeed
that's one thing i love about castlevania, there are way too many tactics to chose from

Yeah, I know what you mean. Once I got hit with one skull, I pretty much got hit with them all because I kept getting knocked into them.
Despite the difficulty, it's still one of my favorite fights from this game.
