less speed entering the hole and better tires would have helped some but still thats a great video man. oh and give er hell with that snatch it needs a little jerk. also since you were already stuck should made some mud rainbows just spinning them thats always fun lol
Just a friendly advice, next time when you're winching get the kids and everyone to stay at least 50ft away, and also have something heavy to lay over the cable. That thing can chop off heads (LITERALLY) if snap.
well der... I didn't just happen to have my camera sitting on a tripod. Anyway my preferred outcome would have been getting through it, but stuck was just as good cause I always enjoy the recovery part!
It is nothing like a come along. Far more powerfull and no limit to wire length. These things are a copy of the original Tirfor. They are used by Fire Brigades and the British Army to lift fallen trees - remove vehicles in accidents etc. The biggest will lift 3.5 tons vertically so it will pull a hell of a lot more than that - far more powerful than an electric winch but hard work and slow. The main advantage is that you can pull sideways or backwards. Also good for lowering down a steep slope.
... nah use dnt know how 2 use a snatch n strap lol ... try reverseing all the way back up 2 the boged car n then dump the clutch n yeh it will yank the car straight out...
That one is a big haul, but I'm not a huge fan... If I was buying one today I'd buy the TJM Ox Handwinch. I also have a small bushranger handwinch that was like $50 or $60 but has got me out of trouble lots of times.

having a winch makes life so much easier, there really isn't anywhere you can't go with one of those in your backseat.

World's most gentle snatch attempt! Heh, they're designed to stretch so hit it with a bit of speed and you'd have been laughing.

cant you just buy a hand winch that you install on the front of your vehicle. it looks just like a winch on a boat.
