  • less speed entering the hole and better tires would have helped some but still thats a great video man. oh and give er hell with that snatch it needs a little jerk. also since you were already stuck should made some mud rainbows just spinning them thats always fun lol

  • having a winch makes life so much easier, there really isn't anywhere you can't go with one of those in your backseat.

  • World's most gentle snatch attempt! Heh, they're designed to stretch so hit it with a bit of speed and you'd have been laughing.

  • dont buy that one ......invest in a winch

  • dont buy that one

  • i agree with mudforme1

  • Just a friendly advice, next time when you're winching get the kids and everyone to stay at least 50ft away, and also have something heavy to lay over the cable. That thing can chop off heads (LITERALLY) if snap.

  • This is why i have a remote controlled spin on my 4x4 ^^

  • snatch it properly...i could pull that out with a 2 wheell drive car and a good snatch strap...

  • great

  • damn i thought it was smaller

  • WHERE did you get that FJ ??? I'VE been looking for that series and it has not found in the USA .... how you get it ?

  • Im in oz man... they everywhere!

  • this was a whole set up... filming him getting stuck in the mud :)

  • well der... I didn't just happen to have my camera sitting on a tripod. Anyway my preferred outcome would have been getting through it, but stuck was just as good cause I always enjoy the recovery part!

  • why didn't you just drive around the mud hole. instead of, you know, straight into it

  • cause chicken trakes are for bitchs that shouldnt play in da mud

  • that is a big come a along

  • It is nothing like a come along. Far more powerfull and no limit to wire length. These things are a copy of the original Tirfor. They are used by Fire Brigades and the British Army to lift fallen trees - remove vehicles in accidents etc. The biggest will lift 3.5 tons vertically so it will pull a hell of a lot more than that - far more powerful than an electric winch but hard work and slow. The main advantage is that you can pull sideways or backwards. Also good for lowering down a steep slope.

  • wat is that thing called i have a come along and its a lot smaller . i want one of these where can you buy one and how much?

  • Cool vid

  • cant you just buy a hand winch that you install on the front of your vehicle. it looks just like a winch on a boat.

  • could of had some slack on the snappy and counted down and dropped the clutch on the crusier would of been right out

  • that cr-v or what ever peice of plastic japaneese crap was never gunna pull u out in a month of sundays

  • ... nah use dnt know how 2 use a snatch n strap lol ... try reverseing all the way back up 2 the boged car n then dump the clutch n yeh it will yank the car straight out...

  • Nice done! especially the hand winching.... i had tried to pull again with the other car... but more power... :)

    Watch my Vid's (sternensammler)

    cu

  • Ta man...

Hand winching is slow and hard work, but it always works and I love it!!!

  • Hi there,

I am considering a hand winch too, what do you use?

  • That one is a big haul, but I'm not a huge fan... If I was buying one today I'd buy the TJM Ox Handwinch. I also have a small bushranger handwinch that was like $50 or $60 but has got me out of trouble lots of times.
