  • awesome

  • I understand some of us want to compare this to DCI or DCA caliber playing but this was done in fun. Some o these guys have corp experience and some dont but the fact of the matter is they had fun and they stayed in time.everything isnt for everybody.Just like you really shouldnt compare DCI or DCA corp stuff to historically black college marching bands.the rudimental basis is there but the marching styles and writing are totally different.Respect these things for what they are and leave it there

  • the only dude here i see that MIGHT have marched corps maybe a while ago and lost some of his chops, is the dude from 311.

  • @bejay20x yes he did march in drum corps with both the Railmen drum corps in Omaha, Nebraska and the Sky Ryders drum corps in Hutchinson, Kansas.

  • horribad.

  • WHOA !!! ITZ ALL GOOD!! much respect to all you percussion freaks!!!

  • what year did he march corps?

  • i agree 100% with rico, these guys suck hard ass, but they have fun =]

  • Why he aint got a HBCU

  • sucks

  • wtf

  • I think this is great. Who cares if they sound like shit, They're just having fun. Besides most of them make millions because they are good drummers.

  • somebody shoot me

  • Chad Sexton marched in Sky Ryders, he was featured on DCI Finals on ESPN a while back

  • i'd be pretty embarassed if i was a big name drummer associated with playing that badly. BUT, drumline is fun even when you suck.

  • Blah. I forgot all about this.

Kilborn should've gotten an HBCU drumline like NSU's Million Dollar Funk Squad or PVAMU's Funk Box. Entertaining and rudimentally sound all in one.

  • The double beat at the end was kinda gay...well the hole thing was kinda gay.

  • WOW! I had no idea that the Blue Devils even had a "D" corps. lol

  • no thats not the d corps thats the f

  • EXACTLY!

  • With the exception of the guy from 311 and maybe a couple others, I think this is an embarrassment for the young people out there who work hard to carry a snare drum in front of them everyday and practice until they can't feel their arms anymore.

...but I guess one of my videos of me air drumming in my bedroom isn't any better.

But yeah people who play drum set should stay on drumset and vice versa.

  • hey newyorkernick ur tellin' me I shouldn't play on the drumline just b/c I play the drum set?

  • I dont think i agree with you man. Alot of good drumset players came/come out of Drum Corps drumlines. Chad sexton from 311, Tommy Igoe, Vinnie Colaiuta. I can name plenty of drummers i know that have rudimental hands and some amazing talents behind a kit. i think this is a good reminder of where all these great drummers on that stage came from.

  • HAHA this is funny its not clean at all. But I like the fact that they had alot of different members to come and play. That was pretty cool.

  • Why do you say that they are not clean? They seem to be playing togehter.

  • Because they werent clean. Whenever you hear the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ noise that = not clean especially on their rolls. Pretty cool none the less.

  • Do you mean when they play rolls in their individual solos or as a group that they are not clean? When you are referring to the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ noise do you mean that their rolls are too closed and should be more open?

  • Hot Damn!!!! :D

  • wow this is pretty cool
