I've never understood the American film industry making our British actors put on an accent. Is it to try passing them off as yours or something.

When you're playing an American character it only makes sense to use an American accent. They can't all be like Sean Connery and sound Scottish no matter what role he's in. I especially like the Russian Submarine commander with the Scottish accent...LOL (p.s. I'm Scottish)
