everyone seems to forget that Derren is reading the wedding day memories too. I love this video because it seems so simple yet so much is going on and it tells a wonderful little mini story. It's put together quite brilliantly. That's the real genious of D.B., how he orchestrates the effects visually.

He explains this sort of thing in his book- it's all to do with ideomotor movement, the unconscious slackening of resistance when pushed in the right direction. Being as indescribably awesome as he is, Derren has practiced a lot to become a master of interpreting this sort of thing.

I think this is the easiest trick Derren does which can be easily recreated yourself. With a little practice you can easily pick up resistances in certain directions that people subconciously create and you just head the way they stress towards. They dont notice they do it but if they're concentrating hard on a direction they do and you can feel it.

I love the bit where they kick over a bag full of fruit. lol. Really clever, he does a similar trick where someone holds his wrist and leads him all the way through a foreign city. Every time he has to go left or right the person makes an unconcious movement left or right on his wrist. Well clever. Read 'Trick of the Mind' by Derren Brown. He explains so much! Great book.
