  • looks like he had a stroke at the end

  • AHHHH!!! Foamy said nothing at the end!! THE END IS NEAR!!!

  • THE ZEN OF ANGER IS ALL YOU NEED TO MASTER! AGH! D:<

  • his rendition on Buddha is actually pretty accurate.

  • whoo for fat buddah !

  • The fat buddah isn't the real buddah

  • imagine if him and Invader Zim were to ever meet

  • @tmeyerrose You win the internet! Enjoy it!

  • @Yabanko LMAO

  • lolz. i do yoga, but i also do archery. yoga for me isn't "becoming one with the world" it a way to relax and enjoy being alone for a while.......... but i love the model comments!

  • i think chi is real. but still the idiots who are trying to impress everyone are idiots and need to stop."at peace with the world" me foot, the world is not at peace o' smart one. >:C

  • Actually, Buddha was actually fucking thin. Go figure.

  • this is true but one problem if buta was a fat fuck who dint give a shit and he got his own religion........ i know what im doin this weekend

  • Calm down, Foamy! Call the local pizza place and order one with everything! :D

  • I tried to master the zen of anger... I almost had an aneyurism.

  • 1,000th

  • typical comment on foamy videos: i agreed with foamy insert story no one gives a fuck about herp derp

  • Yeah, I kinda hate pple like that. Pretentious pricks. I occasionally meditate, but I use it as a way to simply NOT think, or do anything for that matter and just relax. Theres no "at peace" with anything. It just keeps me from killing someone. So when someone catches me meditating (i sometimes did it at my old job) theres the usual response from the pricks "oh, you look so zen" and im about to shove my zen up their ass. Its always rich people too for some reason. never understood that.

  • there are two versions of buddha... indian and asian. asian is the fat one

  • @RiseAgainstLove1 And we love geography.

  • LOL!!!!!! TRUE....... also charging money for enlightenment is not ...enlightened

  • I AGREE. western buddhism is all about yourself and rarely do I see the compassion and good works that are emphasized by many great Zen masters. like religious people, (and the religion they leave because it's superficial), they themselves become superficial and then think they're better than others. helping humanity is fundamental to spiritual development.

  • "The zen of anger is all you need to master!"

  • Buddha wasn't fat, you're thinking of Budai.

  • i think i should say 2 things here;

    1) that "Fat Buddha" isnt buddha, its Budai. a 9th century buddhist saint.

    2) the real buddha actually went through a phase of starvation before he became enlightened or acquired "zen"

  • @TheFarmerboyproducti Well I bet Budai was enlightened too or else he wouldn't be a mistaken icon lol, plus Buddha starved himself probably to cleanse his body and he probably didn't care about looking good...so You are right but Foamy still has a point.

  • @raysoflight08 Budai did attain enlightenment, you dont need to be starved to death to be that. Siddartha Guatma starved himself to cleanse his body, but then he got an epiphany saying that Starvation isnt a good idea, at which point he gained total enlightenment and became Buddha a name meaning "the awakend one"

  • There's always The Church Of The Sub-Genius. Praise "Bob"!

  • @BlackPoisoner

His name is actually Foamy the Squirrel.

  • funny thing, the reason the chinese buddah is fat, is because in chinese chi principles there is a point 3 finger spaces under the belly button called the lower don tien, which is believed to be the center of chi for the whole body, so basically the fatter you were the more chi you had, another way that being fat comes in handy (and before you ask, im not implying that im fat, i could eat non stop and still be as skinny as i am now, its weird)

  • i think this can be shoehorned to any religion, given enough deconstruction and analysis

  • @infernalone666 No. This can be shoehorned to any people, bottom line. Not much effort required. I know, I see it everyday and despite my best efforts indulge every so often.

  • @Varishnu

you're right. i was showing an uncharacteristic generosity towards humans

  • @4CVL i dont really care because i know my religion and its does not matter how i spell it and im a girl

  • I love Squeaky the Squirrel. Love. Love! LOVE HIM!!

    !!!Zen of Anger!!! :)

  • During his "Path to enlightenment" the buddha actually only lived on like one grain of rice a day. He's always depicted as fat because it's meant to represent his wholeness and contentness... Or whatever.

  • 68 people are skinny crackhead bitches

  • There was a fat Buddha though. Budai the Laughing Buddha.

  • You're not far wrong about Buddha. He achieved enlightenment by forsaking all earthly matters and material goods. Basically, he stopped giving a shit. The only thing that isn't true is that Buddha was fat. Buddha actually looked like the Buddha statues you typically find in southeast Asia; he was actually a very svelte man.

  • sooo true im a zen bhuddist i hate it when they show stuff like wat foamy say bit this is funny :D

  • @denorge A buddhist on the internet who can't spell his own philosophy? On this video no less....

  • ohhhmmmm, I am as one with the Foamy, ohmmmmmmmmmmmnom nom i fuckin love green MnMs

  • U can naver buy inner peace

  • @sdotrod5206 12 bucks?

  • it's extremely difficult to take anything you say seriously but i do get your point.

  • I cant stand how all other countries think Americans are bullshitters. The only bullshitters are the fags in hollywood. Us regular citizens of the U.S. are kind fun loveing family type people. And alot of the population takes a serious intetest in other countrie's cultures. Not all Americans are culturally intollorent..

  • Budda wasnt really fat...

  • @HollisterManny still the point stands

  • @HollisterManny Bull.

  • @Shadoweaver407 he wasnt budda is shown as fat becuz in china it means he's "important" to there culture like how we americans have "important ppl" look up at something example: Martin Luther King pictures his head is always up

  • Zen is a branch of Buddhism.

Siddhattha Gotama, otherwise known as "The Buddha" was the founder of Buddhism and he was skinny as hell.

  • I'm just pointing this out because no one else has, but what's with the pants-shittingly scary background music during the Foamy rants?

  • @Staremonemesis I think it sounds nice.

  • Damn fucking straight you have to master anger go foamy

  • Im currently a religious studies major is college and this is actually pretty much what western take on eastern religion is, a commodity. well done sir well done

  • Ironically, internet memes have capitalized on what "zen" and "one with the universe" truly means. Zen = zero, or nothing. One with the universe= inner peace (can also be considered acceptance of life and all its struggles. Put simply, anyone in the world who is truly "Zen" are the living embodiment of one phrase:

"And Not a single Fuck was given this day!"

  • @al3x1103

    thats hilarious! but i disagree, enlightened being accept the fact that everywhere is filled with suffering and try to help others attain that realization, so in the end the do give a fuck! ( ;

  • @al3x1103 Too true.....

Gotta love the lack of fucks that are given

  • stop fucking around with eastern cultures that you know nothing about u western assholes

  • Sorry to burst the bubble, but Buddha was actually a thin guy who left his wife and child to go live in the wilderness. One way or the other, I'm sure the man knew what he was doing.

  • @QueenofLanterns He often went under the Bohdi tree and meditated for days on end♥

  • @RaspberryChanX3 Meditating under a tree. Something we all could do. I mean, what would have happened if Isaac Newton hadn't been thinking under that apple tree and been hit with the apple?

  • @QueenofLanterns ...do you belive ALL of the grade school bullcrap they fed you? I bet you think belive that crap about Washington and the cherry tree too. Seriously, there are so many things wrong with what you said that I dont even know where to start.

  • @Piledriver86 Actually, the story about the cherry tree is crap. That was just a story to make George look good in the eyes of other, but the story about Buddha is the truth.

  • @QueenofLanterns ...I was refering to the thing you said about Newton, not Buddha. Of course the cherry tree story is crap, that was my point.

  • I'd expect better from foamy. The fat idol that is commonly confused with Buddha is actually a monk who became popular. Siddhartha Gautama the Buddha, was not fat.

  • And Zen is a ballance of colors and angles. any how!

Origami A-Zen, book read it. Dumb hippys.

  • @FireDropTechnologies i thought that was feng-shui....

  • @MsPoliticallyCorrect

    Partly, but feng-shui, uses coolors,

    Zen is numbers.

  • THE ZEN OF ANGER! XD

  • This. IS why i want to move to Japan or Korea

  • i couldnt focus during this video cuz i was becoming one with a bottle of jack

  • lol he makes me laugh when im down

  • lol, this applies to all religion.

  • This could very well have been made about Tool.

  • @lPheenixl why Tool?

  • you know what else western people have adopted that pisses me off? Using the word "kawai" like they know the entire fucking japanese vocabulary. It doesn't make you sound cute, smart or cultured. It makes you sound like a poorly spoken ass hole who doesn't know or care enough about whats happening in your own society so you try to sound like you don't need to by pretending you have so much knowledge about another society and their customs. Seriusly we sppeak english in north america SO USE IT!

  • um buddha didnt get fat until he hit east asia. Indian buddha and southeast asian buddha r still original skinny buddha with the crown on his head

  • @itachizlastresort yeh i thought hotei was the fat buddha lol

  • These days Facebook is full of those bitches.

  • I AGREE!!!

  • ummm....budha was actualy ripped

he was depicted that way because it made him seem healthier for the chinese culture, more god-like

    so yeah.....

    budha+fat=lie

  • I went to a Buddhist temple once and we spent half an hour meditating, and, I enjoyed the peace. But when we went back to Timphu, retarded anorexique people started lying on there backs with their legs positioned, and started bragging about "We're enlightened so, we're better than you!" Goddddd....

  • GO FOAMY!!!!! :D COMPLETELY AGREE WITH EVERY STATEMENT MADE, ESPECIALLY THOSE OCCURING AT OR AFTER THE MIDPOINT OF THE VIDEO, ~ !!

  • Hmm, I do tend to think that most people are very unenlightened about pretty much everything. It's the culture of stupidity and hedonism. Meditation is supposed to open your eyes and make you think, not just chill you out. Relaxing and meditating are two different things. Nothing wrong with "taking time out of your day to such and such". I'm interested but have never actually committed to it. And I think I hate people too much to be that peaceful anyway. Inner peace? That ship has sailed. :/

  • I have achieved total zen of anger enlightenment......MOTHA FACKA

  • When you're in need of guidance just ask yourself: what would Mathers do?

  • Buddha was actually really thin....

  • Seriously....western wanna be zen has had no attempt to look into the actual philosophy of zen.... just an altered mimic that suits their desire. I mean sure zen is outrageously simple, but its something most middle aged moms of America wouldn't conform to. Hell i hate myself for being a westerner and preaching my opinion here when your supposed not give a fuck.. "Do not seek the truth, only cease to cherish your opinions,"

  • @dodgingaces pfft as if people know what philosophy is :')...

  • what the fuck is this??

  • He got so pissed in this one.Put mute on your computer and see how long you can last laughing, without volume this cartoon is meaningless.

  • @hpxozxwicked Which Buddah? There were at least three that I'm aware of, and they all had various philosophies on attaining inner peace.

  • @oPHILOSORAPTORo all buddhas teach the same thing, they just have different methods. And there has only been one historical buddha

  • but buddha shunned all pleasures in life

  • Indian Buddha is skinny.

  • Zen= 0 but 0 is a perfect shape per4fectly balanced no uneven sides no cracks or edges. something to think about wererat person

  • @serviceman613 would've helped if you'd said that as a reply. and i know about the whole symmetrical aspect of the name, I was just saying that people keep using the word pretending to know it's meaning when in actuality they're just going with the flow, acting like some sort of master of the mind when they probably know about as much of these beliefs as they do open-heart surgery.

  • lol

    ZI ZEN OF ANGA

  • I had to sit through a dinner party with a lady like that, one of the more challenging evenings of my life.

  • you know what "Zen" means? the real meaning of the word zen is "zero". that's it. zero. kinda takes all the mysticism out of it, doesn't it?

hell, all "at one with the universe" was origonally ment to mean was pretty much "get on with life and stop complaining."

    eat when hungry.

    drink when thirsty.

    sleep when tired.

get off cellphone when in theater.

  • @wererat2000 If the Buddha were on Youtube right now, he would post a "FUCK YEAH!" in response to you comment.

  • @wererat2000 You forgot the 80 year old grandmother driving while on her cell phone.

  • @wererat2000 you are the true master. teach me your ways.

  • @wererat2000 such truth.....in a top rated youtube comment? how can this be...

  • @wererat2000 uhm true... im just assuming this? but wasnt "zen" put into the role of

"one with the universe" BECAUSE it means zero? to have zen is to want not need what you must and accept no more? in other words? have 0 wants Have the basic needs You will achieve inner peace? makes sense? without all of the distractions of wants on your mind, you have room to see everything for what it really is and your true needs become clear? its basicly just a way of saying find your Zero to find your 1?

  • @wererat2000 oh and uh to clarify to me personally zen never had mysticism it was word used as an icon... i prefer to seek the 'zen' mysticism in its actual location not the word but instead the philosophy? want not needs will be provided seek your inner self (your 1) and the universe will connect to you and you to the universe? its the same as clear your mind close your eyes turn on surround sound on a game (with ambience) and visualize where the sounds originate? you'll be supprised...

  • @wererat2000 and yea games are not a (real) good example? but think about it? if your playing an immersive horror game (L4D dead island Resident evil and such) if you focus on the origin of the sounds the distance the height the direction? you can snipe (in l4d and l4d2) infected from miles away with an auto shotgun or a sub? still a kind of bad example but its the same principal just accept nothing (0) needs will come(+1) to find yourself (1) and connect to the universe (infinite)just an idea^^

  • @trenroku dude. shut up. seriously, all i was trying to say is that "zen" just means to live and let live, want what's needed and enjoy life for what it is, not what it could be. i did NOT want for somebody to go on a THREE COMMENT RANT with no substance what so ever.

hell, i didn't even know that was still a top comment.

  • I meditate but I'd never call myself Zen since I don't fully understand Zen anyway. I love trees and nature but I don't run around saying I'm Wiccan. Sometimes I have dreams and they happen but I don't automatically think I'm a Psychic. I'm just a person who likes relaxing in the park, going into deep thought, and taking naps is all xD

  • does anybody notice the music in the background sounds like Mozart lol

  • One of the better rants lol... I'm slowly converting over to cult of Foamy!!!

  • finally someone sead it! it takes years to reach zen lifetimes even! buy the time those western fake zen PRICKS could actually reach real zen they would have passed through at least what TEN LIFETIMES!!! FOR GOD SAKES YOU BRAINLESS NUM NUTS GET A CLUE

  • OMFG thank you foamy!

By God I know one stupid bitch who has somehow meditated herself stupid. Meditation is supposed to be a heightened sense of awareness that wakes up the brain to be as alert as when in REM sleep during waking hours. How the hell she got it wrong, I have no idea -_-'...

  • I reflect on all of everythings complexities you dont need to meditate for that and the pathetic jokes on these tv shows suggesting they do this is beyond hyprocritical and arrogant.

Its a clown claiming hes a king.

Pathetic humans actually claiming they have greatness.

  • THANK U FOAMY god finally U guys r not smaaaaaart u just wanna belittle ppl.

  • When did the music come up? O.O

  • @SarItachi79 it started when the video did

after readin it i had the same thought and had to check :)

  • im zen :(

  • Buddha was a skinny Indian guy, just so you know.

  • haha funny! I agree with most of that cute katty ;) I meditate to help me accept all that life brings along with aim to just be a loving being on this planet. Enjoy your anger zen Xx

  • @angelovzen hes a squirrel

  • haha funny! I agree with most of that cute katty ;) I meditate to help me accept all that life brings along with aim to just be a loving being on this planet. Enjoy your anger zen Xx

  • I do happen to agree with Foamy with that. But, Zen is similar to the seven chakras. You meditate to achieve enlightenment, but, with chakra, you have to face your problems. Zen, you just think peaceful. I find it easier with relaxation music. So, I don't feel like I'm straining myself too hard.

  • yep...his brain's burst...*pokes him with a stick*

  • I have mastered the Zen of not giving a flying fuck about anything but my own well being and happiness. I help people where I can but I don't interfere with their lives. I eat sensibly, but I don't have to force myself to do so. I complain, but I try to make it funny and interesting, which if I can't do I keep quiet. So, because of this, everyone thinks I'm a weirdo freak. I love life. =D

  • @Laurie2733

    Good for you :D

  • Look...Life sucks, people must learned that. and Zen...or whatever the f*ck its called will help no one! Not one person is at peace with life...Im not I have a problem with just about everyone, everyday. there is no peace, or internal happiness there just life. Live with and hope to have some..good parts in life. If you want peace than die. Thats when peace will come.

  • true fucking true this is the same thing with the games of today

  • The zen of anger that is so excllent Foamy rules totaly

  • One day that vein on his head will explode, and I will laugh my ass off.

  • when i watched this a Meditation add showed up no joke.....

  • the chinese buddha is fat, hes a symbol for wealthiness, but the original buddha is really skinny

  • I'm sorry to tell you this, but Buddha was not fat, he was skinny. He didn't eat for years, how the hell would he be fat? The american image of Buddha is a misunderstanding. You're confusing him for another god (the fat one)

  • yes buddha was fat, anyone that says differently is trying to sell something. nothing wrong with being fat people. deal with it you hippie zen mofos.

  • @clericofchaos1 Buddha was not fat, he was skinny as hell. He didn't eat for years, the american version of Buddha is wrong. The buddha from Asia is skinny as hell

  • The Zen of anger is all you need to master!!! AGH!!!

  • @crimsonjoy i masterd it lol

  • ....I love Foamy.. but Buddah was skinny. He barely ate.. ever. The fat buddah statues are wrong..

  • @RosetteandChrono The fat buddha statues are Chinese. Chinese Buddhists believe he was shaped that way, Thai and Tibetan Buddhists see the image of Buddhas as the thin version.

  • @RosetteandChrono The fat ones are from before he went out to become enlightened. So your right on the money there, it would be like us holding up an idol of someone who took steroids as the model of sportsmanship XD

  • Foamy our lord and master reminds me off Dr.Cox from scrubs

  • THE ZEN OF ANGER IS ALL YOU NEED TO MASTER! AUUUUUUGH!

    xD Words of wisdom, folks.

  • foamy forgets that Buhda was not always fat, he is shown fat as a interpunction of happiness and peace, while he was thin as the lord of the rings collection or some kind, just 3 dvds

  • buddha wasint fat,but fosmy dous make a good point..

  • @jackspicer666chack One question...What is this fosmy that you speaks of?

  • @FireWolfLovesAxel lmfao i knew i do something dumb like that,i cant see the words when i tpye on youtube its sucks becouse i cant twll if i spelled something wrong, which i usally do my english sucks XD

  • *Starts shrinking from 1:30 all the way to the end*

  • Zen of anger... oddly enough I think I may have just been enlightened... that odd peaceful state we gamers reach when in the zone whilst happily slaughtering hordes of noobs....... black ops here I come

  • LoL! Im a massage therapist and work at spas that sit next to yoga classes and such and it made me laugh so hard because i meet people like this on the daily!!! I just massage, nothing else to it, hahaha!

  • If I ever come across one of those people described in the video, and they're pissing me off, I will quote 0:57 and on at them. You are zen when you have centered your chi and have reached an inner peace. Chi (Japanese)/Qi (Chinese) is a word that cannot be properly translated into English, because it's true meaning is more than just an inner force to everything and inner peace. It's much, MUCH deeper than that, and nobody who uses it as psycological leverage knows this. They can all go die.

  • yea man

  • HAHA maaan foamy has everyone here brainwashed XD to have that sort of power over the public is scaring the shit out of me. But no worries *cocks shotgun* ill kill them :3 including YOU for reading this.....

    .....

    .......

    ..........

    Look behind you >:D

  • @Elementalguy30 if you looked around, give us a thumbs up

  • ok master

  • western zen reminds me of chuck noris. You know the western master of martail arts. Wtf. Wtf

    Kyaaa~ white ninja

  • @franfran5643 western zen reminds me of chuck norris: they both suck

  • foamy is seriously my inspiration to telling my friends and anyone reall, just what i think of them!! go foamy! <3 speak your mind!!

  • Heres my version of meditation: I close my eyes, take a deep breath, AND THEN SCREAM MY BLOODY HEAD OFF! It always makes me feel beter after i do that :)

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • Is it just me or does he gets even more pissed off as more rants come out i think this became a personal creator thoughts talking lol

  • AMEN!!!!!!

  • in all reality, according to the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, we can only glean a base idea abot the nature of Zen, because we don't even have a word for Zen in English, all East Asian language have a word for Zen, but we do not. if you cannot say it, you cannot think it. < not to bee taken totally literally, but true to an extent. hense hypothesis, not law.

  • @MrItachi444 Never mind hypotheses. "Zen" is the Japanese translation of the Chinese word "Ch'an," which is translated from the Sanskrit "Dhyana," which means "meditative mind." This mind has nothing to do with intellect or thought, but is our essential consciousness... But never mind words... come to a 7-day silent retreat and find out what we really are. mondozen.org

  • @pactater this is true. I'm merely stating that a translation and a meaning are not the same. even if we can translate the word, It will be skewed by our language and interpretations. however we can't exactly translate "zen" into english anyway. thank you for your offer and I will look into the site you've indicated. the deeper meanings of Zen and Buddhism are not in the scope of words, we aren't mean't to grasp it with ease. I agree with you, thought is not entirely dependant on language.

  • A-fucking-men!!!

  • @gayBroat Actually your alittle off, Who foamy is talking about is "Budai" the Chinese Folkloric Deity, otherwise known in the west as "Fat Buddha" The Buddha your talking about is Siddhārtha Gautama. Look it up in Wikipedia for more info :P

Also... Praise Foamy for this piece of wisdom :D

  • Anger is my best friend! however it does't work well around my mom... (-__-u)

  • This is only the truth. And it's sad.

  • i love this freakin' squirrel! he say's what i'm thinking!

  • You should thank Foamie for his grandfatherly kindness now.

  • kittens DO give you peace with your surrounding.. because buddah ate them.. mmmmmmmmmmm.. oh my gawd, i cant listen to anymore.. stoping at.. mystical facade..

  • Foamy actually had a comic about the difference of Buddha and Budai ( Fat Buddha)
