She whispers in the wind, "I love you"; she shines herself on your window; the bird which comes close is her, and the unusual warmth you feel from time to time is her hugging you. I know because I have it with my parents who passed away 13 and 10 years ago. I still grieve my loss, but the wonderful memories take me through it.

I am blessed to still have my mom, and I am also blessed to be a mom myself. I cry every time I hear this beautiful song. It is one of my favorite non-traditional Christmas songs. Thank you for posting it.

My mother died the year this song came out--She became sick right after Halloween that year and I still remember hearing this song while driving home 1 and 1/2 hours from the hospital. I had to pull over . I could not drive anymore..I still cry every time I hear this song because I think of my wonderful mother and miss her so much around the holidays.I MISS YOU MOM.

This is one of my favorite Christmas song. This song is just so touching and makes me cry almost every time.
It has an amazing story to it, and it really shows the true meaning of Christmas. We should all be thankful for what we have, and remember that Christmas isn't a holiday of greed, it's for love, and of course to remember our Savior's Birth.

@sarbear327 Actually, Xmas is a pagan holiday hijacked by christians for monetary gain. Do a little research into that fairy tale messiah of yours. The lighted tree, singing of carols, holly wreath, and mistletoe are all pagan in origin.

Today at FCA they showed this video to my friends and they were crying. So they showed it to us we all started crying. This song makes me cry every time but i am glad my mom is still alive, so i am sorry for all of you who's mom died.

My mom recently passed away in Novemeber. For being 13, I thought I handled it well. I was glad she was finally better, and she didn't have to go through pain.. I didn't cry that much... I was happy for her.
This is the only song that I can't listen to without crying. Plus, the video makes this x10 more sad. Just seeing the mom in the bed, sick, makes me sad because my mom was such a beautiful woman and in weeks she was thin and brittle because of one little thing. Shes my angel now. RIP MOM

I cry every time I hear this song....I don't think there is any other song that gets to me like this one. It's reminds me on my grandmother who passed away in January of 1998. I miss her more and more every year!! People have told me that I would me okay after a couple years, and I am still struggling with her being gone. :-( Love you Granny!!

@kschadler08 The wonderful memories will help, but nothing will fill the void. There is no time set for the end of grieving. Know that she is with you. She whispers in the wind, "I love you"; she shines herself on your window; the bird which comes close is her, and the unusual warmth you feel from time to time is her hugging you. I know because I have it with my parents who passed away 13 and 10 years ago. I still grieve my loss, but the wonderful memories take me through it.

it's not about the presents under the tree its about what's in your heart and whose hearts you touch by spreading the joy
and it shouldn't b about gifts under the tree its all about making those people less fortunate than us smile and giving them those last few hours with those they love and letting those loved ones smile for one last time.

Darned! I missed it on Sunday night. I just saw this (and heard this) last Christmas 2009 and boy did I cry watching it. I DVR'd the 1st movie of the trilogy earlier this month, "The Christmas Shoes"... I hope that the other 2 will be re-aired so I can watch them again too.

Gah...I used to sing this song in elementry every year. I had the solo for years and years, and I am a girl. But I have never seen the video...I don't think I wanna ever again, normally I can sing regardless but I could'nt sing at all. I kept cracking really bad from crying.
