God, this game looked like crap on the PC port. Even the midi sounds and music were worse. I'm glad I grew up playing it on the Mac back when it dominated the gaming market. Good quality then.

Which would allow you skip from one agent to another.

@FoxRoxification while I loved this game on the pc, the first thing I played it on was the super nintendo and its controls wherent that bad as far as I remember. syndicate wars controls wherent bad on the playstation as well.

its funny but I still see syndicate as one of the most futuristic games going. I play deus ex HR now thinking in the back of my mind how its trying to be like syndicate. I dont think starbreeze realise that an original concept like syndicate doesnt need to be the big face melting fps they are making for the consoles and ultimately the real life corporation that is ea. if the game was a fps back in the day, I dont think I'd be watching this video nostalgically and thinking about reinstalling it.

@teas926 Yeah, the original was a true classic and one of my all-time favourite Miggy games. Also notice how trolling muppets like soulassssns has STFU now that actual gameplay footage has been released. It's not the Syndicate successor he was hoping for, rather a bland, garish and dull looking Deus Ex copy. A poor one at that.

@soulassssns EA is the publisher, so I´m pretty shure its a FPS/RPG like DeusEx. Just think about porting this strategic game to a console, the controls would be horrific. I´m not saying it will be a shitgame but why take the good name of a beloved oldtimer if it has nothing to do with the actual new game? Just create a cyberpunk universe with some evil syndicates fighting for the control of the world, DeusEx did it and they did a great game! Most people are pissed because of the name.

This game had a lot of flaws, and I sucked at it, and it used to randomly crash on my crappy computer... but I still count it as one of my favourites because of this intro and the atmosphere of the game. Way more artistic than most modern games.

I was spending all my free time kiiling everybody on the map, and gathering stuff then selling it and funding research, muehehhehe

actually this game forced me to learn english, games are good :D

I hope they won't fook it up, like the crappy consolized fallout, it was intersting for 2 hours, then it became boring - bring this, bring that, it felt flat and repetetive, somehow the story wasn't good enough.

lol i was like 4, so it amazed me even more. This game was mega inventive, now games are so much more generic or when a new idea is created it sequels murder it and its copied, i.e guitar hero, GTA 3

Starbreeze seems like a semi-competent studio, they are behind Chronicles of Riddick. Darkness recieved good reviews. The title is a 'reinvention' of the Syndicate Series, that might be good or bad, but their track record is rather decent, I just hope it's a match for Syndicate.
