  • Bernard Manning did his own funeral, damn good.

  • Some great words, unless time itself is looped, could be for all we know, this is our one shot and we can make it count :)

  • Best account name I've ever seen!!! Nice work! :)

  • We jesus freaks don't care if atheists go to hell; we will always believe in eternity or rather yes lets believe in a alcholic like hitchens over God. No wonder he's ostercized by his own family.

  • Comment removed

  • @wilddogsamca Within you burns the passion of truth. Don't waste it on an online argument. Continue reading and educating yourself - I'd love to see where you would be in five years compared to your proclaimed enemy here.

  • @wilddogsamca And you're backed up by bible passages accusing him of gluttony, public drunkenness, not abiding the law, lying, arrogance, breaking family connections and degrading his mother in public, the demand that he alone should be exempted from crucifixion (probably had some shit done to deserve that one), stealing, coveting, extortion, false prophecies, little knowledge on the OT and probably some more stuff I forgot.

  • @wilddogsamca christopher hitchens you are a grade A ASSHOLE.

Living proof of what atheist filth is.

(true atheists, not there's an oxy-moron..)

  • @NorthNorth2009 Talking about alcoholics, is jesus kicking off already? Oh and jesus got ostracized by his own family. Too bad there's no eternal bliss waiting for you, just the ashes.

  • @avdmeers How do you know? Are you sure? If there is; there is, if there isn't I didn't lose anything. It's non-believers that lose.

  • @NorthNorth2009 Nobody qualifies to the rules made in the bible. So go ahead thinking in a doctrine that would send a good, honest man to eternal torture simply for not believing in something foolish. I'd rather go to hell in the wake of Satan having killed 3 people (with permission of god), than to submit to a god that has killed millions and smiles in himself for doing so. And that's just the hypothetical case, as the chance for god's existence is smaller than a singular point in space.

  • @avdmeers No you wouldn't want to go to hell and God does not smile at himself you're delusional. The bible quotes are history and the stories of ancient aliens anyways you wouldn't understand it.

  • @NorthNorth2009 We all know that in your mind you doubt your own religion at times, but you've been taught ways to suppress and come up with diversions (instead of real answers). The bible is not written by "eye witnesses", it's got major contradictions that apologists have no answer for and "solve" with tactics to divert the attention away.

And what's that idiotic crap about ancient aliens? That's one pf those other things that completely do not occur in the bible and you make up for fun?

  • @NorthNorth2009 What makes your ego so inflated that you think that nature requires your eternal presence? And how desperate are you to cling on to the barbaric idea that torturous human sacrifice would influence the natural order to your benefit? Your lack of compassion is ugly (and for all to see), but it dwarfs compared with the naivety of your motivations. Have you no dignity?

  • @studioROT Bla Bla Bla I don't listen to alcholics. Human sacrifice has been and is still going on today but no one seems to care nor are they doing anything about it. Just look at the poisonous vaccines, the hazzardous food that is being fed us, the chemicals we are exposed to. Are you doing anything? And yes I do believe we are eternal, spiritual beings.

  • @NorthNorth2009, my reference to human sacrifice, was specifically aimed at Jesus' barbaric murder which you consider so beneficial for your own personal eternal well-being. What do I do about it? Writing these words.

Ironically, in this context, the alcoholic of whom you so disapprove, wrote somewhere that if he would have lived in Jesus' time, he would have tried to stop the slaughter. You sir, seem more than happy to go along with the ugly bloody methods of the superstitious.

  • @studioROT There is no such thing as Jesus' barbaric murders you have been reading the wrong book; Jesus brought the dead back to life. Why are humans slaughtering each other to this day? Hitchens isn't doing a good job of stopping them.

  • @NorthNorth2009, You seem confused. But please, allow me to ask you this:

Do you think that Jesus was tortured and killed for your own personal benefit?

(If your answer is NO, I apologize for my assumption that you were a christian).

  • @studioROT Where do you want to go with this? Do you think you can convince me that Christ does not exist? I don't think so. We are eternal creatures and our life purpose is spiritual evolution.

  • @NorthNorth2009 , why do you not answer the question: Is it your conviction that Jesus was tortured and murdered for your personal eternal benefit?

It is important to state the position of a christian in order for the godless to understand. I do not try to convince you of anything. I am just interested in the views of a christian, but you seem reluctant to share the answer of that question with me.

Is it your conviction that Jesus was tortured and murdered for your personal eternal benefit?

  • @studioROT What did hitchens do for you? do you think he would allow himself to be tortured and murdered for you.

  • @NorthNorth2009, It would be grotesquely idiotic to suggest that Hitchens' murder would be beneficial to me in any manner. Such barbaric notions are held by the gullible faithful. It disgusts me to know that people gloat over the horrible murder of a young man (Jesus) as if it was something really good for their own self-centered position. Shameful!

  • @studioROT I hate the idea of Jesus being murdered, it's sad that he lived so little; we Christians are not happy at this. The only ones who do gloat are the ones who hate him. How about now anyone who questions authority or rebels even in todays society is put in prison or worse. We never really had or have freedom the world is run by corrupt people. Christ only taught us love but not many listened or listen.

  • @NorthNorth2009, Since you hate the idea of Jesus being murdered, and if you would have lived in Jesus' time, would you have tried to save him from his ordeal (as Hitchens would have tried)? Or would you have been the bystander who did nothing at all? Would you have made remarks like the remark you made about atheists: "We jesus freaks don't care if atheists go to hell"? Would you have let the torture happen because they told you that it was good for your own eternal welfare?

  • @studioROT How do you know if hitchens would of helped? He believes in abortion and doesn't do anything. And if atheists don't believe in hell why are you asking me?

  • @NorthNorth2009, Hitchens is not pro-abortion; inform yourself better before you judge!

I am asking these questions to understand your views and to expose your lack of compassion.

I also ask these questions in the hope that you will answer them to yourself. You have noticed that some of the answers are to painful to admit here on the World Wide Web. You have more dignity than your religion wants you to have.

I ask them in the hope that you will start thinking for your self one day.

  • @studioROT hitchens is pro-abortion; I have seen him say so. i don't follow religions i mediate and pray at home and read the new testatment. i do think for myself i don't watch any religious programs and i don't get brainwashed by no one that means the big pharma, the government etc....

  • @NorthNorth2009

On the basis of an empirically unferifialble proposition you are lead to believe that the torture of at least one man (Jesus) is beneficial to you (although you can not seem to admit that here). You have been convinced that your fellow humans will somehow survive their death. And now you happily believe that after they die, they'll be justifiably tortured for eternity. And you are convinced that you are not brainwashed.

What will you believe next? Have you no dignity?

  • @NorthNorth2009

Hitchens doesn't pick a side in the abortion debate. He does, however, maintain that he cares a great deal about the unborn.

  • @NorthNorth2009 Jesus was not murdered, he was sacrificed for our sins. The ultimate sacrifice, it was not a sad incident, it was the only way for our salvation. The whole old testament is a build up to that sacrifice. God saves us from our self in the end. Jesus (God) reached his objectives when he died on the cross, that is why it is so important to preach the Cross and the meaning of it.

  • @ripmev dead land became fertile again after sometimes. you see it everywhere, Can you prove scientifically the essence of your thoughts that influence your personality?

  • God gave Men free choice to believe or not. Hitchens is your proof.

  • @zatoichiable Law gives liberty give men free will. The notion of god gives men false hopes and ideas such as santa claus and the easter bunny do for children. Christian mythology is just that, no different than greek, roman or egyptian mythology.God is false.

  • @whitehorsejason Men corrupt religions and turn them into stale dogmatic and belief system. Santa Clause is just that no different from others, Spirituality turn into materialist consumerism. Remember hitchen do believe in consiousness that never dies and therefore the idea of afterlife. He just dont it call it religion.

  • @zatoichiable

Wind is generated by trees. Their moving branches is your proof.

  • god is logic = theoreticalphysics.webs.com

  • @paginipro who or what influence the behavior of protons and neutrons that gives rise finally to brain sense perceptions?. Mysterious means God, God made a claim from the beginning of annals of time that he is God. Did someone ever claimed that?

  • Thank you Hitchens! Keep on keeping on!

Oh and by the by, there are christian groups that like to do nothing more than try to bash on people like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins. They (jesus freaks) have no argument and are simply afraid that they might not be immortal.

WAKE UP SLAVES TO THE CHURCH!

  • If you watch older interviews with Hitch and Quinn, you can see how they flirted with each other. I think Quinn found this interview a lot harder than Hitch did.

  • Here is a man who has helped many people de-program themselves from the bondage of religious dogma. He has inspired me so much ( and Dawkins) that

I have decided, that I will (as best as I can) carry his message on to others, with perhaps less charisma (hahaha) than he, but never the less, try to help others as i have been helped. He is brilliant!

  • @bermudaguy1 I feel exactly the same way. Thanks to Hitch I finally stood up to some of my fundamentalist family and man did it feel good!! I have felt this way for a long time Hitchens just helped me to finally debate my thoughts. Thank you Christopher Hitchens!!

  • @Hitchism1 Good for you. We all have to step into intelligent thinking.

  • @bermudaguy1 Yeah! You could have a group that gets together every seven days, and you could get up in front of them and speak for forty minutes about the lies of religion. Then during the week, you can go door-to-door and ask if people can accept that God is a delusion. What a wonderful idea!

  • @bermudaguy1 yup, great progressive thinking. We are actually seeing the emancipation of the human conciousness from its dogmatic state of ignorance and error.I mean after all, we had enuff biology, psychiatry, geology, astronomy, paleontolgy, physics and history during the ScientificRevolution of the 1700`s and the AgeOfEnlightenment of the 1800`s to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the realm of the supernatural does not exist, too bad it went over evryones` heads.

  • Hitchens is very honest in this vid, very reflective and even a bit meloncholy. Though he doesn't want it or believes in; I pray God performs a miracle and cures him. He challenges all believers In Christ. Even if you disagree with him and he has been rude to believers, all us Jesus Freaks must surely know that we dishonor God by challenging him and other non-believers not with love but full of self-righteousness. Jesus died and loves him/you. Peace.

  • god is dead, Nietzsche.

    Nietzsche is dead, god.

    cheeses loves you chsistopher,

but satan thinks your a cunt.

  • The C.I.A. safely delivers the coca & morphia that Americans can't live without. Mail-service would be more timely if handled by the C.I.A.

  • smokin and drinkin summons death in some way or another for eternity comes in a blur or soberly

  • This lady doing the interview is a bitch. Asking a man with cancer if he has thought about his funeral is ridiculous. The fact that Christopher Hitchens can come up with a good answer doesn't mean he should be asked such a question. Nevermind religion, it goes against the basic human decency that we should all be required to follow while here on Earth.

  • What gives him the right to bitch about Christians? Muslims? Jew's? Any religion?

  • @sarsfieldusmc And you're supposedly a Naval Sea Cadet!? You clearly need a serious education on that thing we call the First Amendment which guarantees freedom of speech, and for which every member of the U.S. military is sworn to defend to the death. We are not quite yet a Christian theocracy, which would see the government supplant the constitution as the law of the land with tyrannical rule that history shows has always ensued when clergy dictates from that worthless rag -- the bible.

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank

    1. Calm down lol, only stupid people insult other people.

    2. What I meant is, he seems to cry and whine about how religion is unaccepting and evil. When he is being unaccepting of religion. It's hypocritical. Btw, does he have cancer? Or does he keep his head bald? If he does have cancer, i hope he will be okay.

    3. How about you respect my religious belief's instead of insulting them.

    4. i am tired and my answer looks like shit, so sorry man. I will clear it up later.

  • @sarsfieldusmc It is not automatically bad to accuse something of being bad -- and so, is it neither hypocritical.

Nobody needs to accept or repect religion, simply because it's "religion". That was the common practice for the last half of the 20th century, and is what has gotten us in today's tendency of considering ignorance and superstition to be a virtue. Religion is a mind poison. If people believe crazy things, it drives them to do crazy things. Xtianity is a form of mass insanity.

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank

With all due respect, I disagree, and i believe that thats an ignorant view of the world. In fact, i believe that it's as ignorant as mindlessly following religion. Are there stupid Christian's? Muslim's? Jew's? Yea, but most are people just trying to get by. I have a problem with this man because he is not saying 'I disagree with religion' but 'All religion is stupid and don't have thinking follower's'. I'm not stupid. I believe in Micro Evolution, I have faith in.....

  • @sarsfieldusmc Again you insist on making unequal comparisons. Xtianity is either crazy nonsense, or it isn't. They're opposites; there's no in-between. So holding one of those world views can not be "as ignorant" or "mindless" as the other.

You keep using the word 'stupid', but Hitchens never does, and so you need to cease using that strawman. Typically, people are indoctrinated & inculcated into believing nonsense as kids when their minds are vulnerable. They're not stupid, just victims.

  • (2) Christianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie, which is his own father, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master. This is so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in all humanity because a rib-woman was convinced to eat from a magical tree by an infinitely sadistic being disguised as a talking snake with legs.

That is pure insanity, and requires a great level of credulity to believe.

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank I have faith in the possibility of macro evolution. I believe that the world was created in a process of millions and millions of year's. I respect other beliefs. He accuses Christians of being stupid, but we started the scientific revolution. I respect your belief and all i am asking is you to respect mine. The world has problems because people won't respect each other. You can challenge something without being disrespectful. I know that stupid christians make us look bad.

  • @sarsfieldusmc Evolution neither requires belief or faith. It is FACT -- just as is gravity. There really are no such things as micro/macro evolution. There's only evolution, and for certain changes to evolve it may require decades or millions of years.

People should respect people, but respecting all of others' beliefs is not possible and must not fake that they do. I do not respect belief in an imaginary dictator in the sky, nor of the credulity involved in slavishly worshipping it.

  • (2) "The world has problems" for the most part because people believe in absurdities.

"As long as people believe in absurdities they will continue to commit atrocities." ~Voltaire

"AS LONG AS GOD OCCUPIES A PORTION OF OUR THOUGHTS, MANKIND MUST BE CONTENT TO SUFFER THE HATRED AND ANTAGONISM OF MAN." ~ JOSEPH LEWIS, 1920

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank

Did you just say there is no difference between micro and macro evolution?

I'm out, have a nice life.

  • @sarsfieldusmc There's only evolution! The difference in the amount of time required for speciation or other evolving changes by means of natural selection to occur is what some (creationists) erroneously like to divide into 2 categories of micro/macro. We've known of evolution for just over a century. So we haven't been watching long enough to actually observe changes over vast periods of time, but the fossil record is proof positive that we didn't POOF into existence by a magician in the sky.

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank

I wish everyone who used the term "micro/macro evolution" and the phrase "everything happens for a reason" would just spontaneously combust.....so tired.....

  • @sarsfieldusmc

So called 'micro' and 'macro' evolution aren't even distinguished in the scientific community. The micro/macro bullshit was invented by creationists because they are desperate and try to disguise their inane arguments in some pseudosophisticated, scienc-y sounding NON-terms....

  • @sarsfieldusmc

The cold hard truth is that evolution is a fact and it is incompatible with the judeo-christian, muslim, ancient, mythological 'gods' that have been created in the minds of credulous, superstitious, primitive Homo Sapiens...

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank But most of us aren't like that.

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank Though i know from a psychological level that he will never be respectful...

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank

"not quite yet a christian thocracy"

haha, so true....that IS the direction we are headed....so sad

  • @sarsfieldusmc

How about the fact that it is 2011 and christians, muslims, and jews are not only the cause of a LOT of distress among our species, but they deliberately impede scientific and social progress because they are so steeped in ridiculous tradition and want to preserve ancient mythological superstitions that have been KNOWN to be false for hundreds of years....

That COULD be what gives all of us the right to complain about the destruction religion has caused.

  • @sarsfieldusmc

Not only do these groups want to take the freedom and lives of each other, but they want to take the freedom and lives of atheists, scientists, doctors, homosexuals, women, minorities, poor people, etc.

They want to impose their incredibly immoral virtues on everybody else under the guise of "faith"

I'm sorry but FUCK their faith, it's puerile. and they need to grow the fuck up and GET OVER IT!!

  • @sarsfieldusmc

I didn't even mention the hijacking of the minds of impressionable young children that all of these religions are responsible for.

I have first hand experience as someone who was fiercely indoctrinated with fundamentalist dogma. It was not only emotionally excruciating to FACE REALITY and put away the delusion as a teenager, but it was incredibly terrifying and socially isolating. It is now about 10 years later and I am so incredibly glad I have a free mind. It is truly wonderful.

  • @sarsfieldusmc

That's what is so tragic about it...It is for nothing, because it is TOTALLY make believe BS, this demons and angels, heaven and hell business. My mind was trapped for 18 years and it didn't have to be. I can't blame my parents, cuz they thought they were doing good. They are (ignorant) victims, too. Until I realized I was a naturalist the 'god' question was SO real and important to me, but my brain was trying to reconcile the absurdities with the REALITY I faced every day.

  • @4tabula2rasa0 Thanks for your comments. It's always good to hear from someone who found the mental and emotional fortitude necessary to break free of the indoctrinated mind shackles of religious superstition. :-)

  • @JesusSavesAtCitibank

You're more than welcome for the comments. If you knew me in person you would know that I have a whooooole lot more to say but I try to keep it concise in my comments. Get a few beers in me, though, or better yet some magic mushrooms and I just might not shut up about the UNNECESSARY evils of religion and its TRAGIC consequences for humanity for hours. There is so much!

and Thank YOU for the videos. I hadn't seen any videos where Hitch speaks in depth about his diagnosis.

  • @sarsfieldusmc He doesn't need you or anyone else to give him any right to do it. And neither do I. Christianity,Judaism and Islam are collectively responsible for death ,destruction, hate, war, bigotry prejudice and much more besides. See nobody needs a right to bitch about it because to bitch about it is right.

  • @flight1100 Does this give me the right to bitch about atheism? Since they caused the deaths of millions with their marxist, communist and nazi governments?

  • @sarsfieldusmc Sure. Bitch about whatever you want. Those who hear your'e bitching can decide if you have a case.

  • @sarsfieldusmc Naziism wasn't an atheist idea, Hitler was NOT an atheist. Stalin was but that isn't why he did what he did.

  • @crazytosh1 I suggest you read "Hitlers Table Talk", its a book based off a series of first person accounts by hitlers staff. He bashes christianity pretty damn hard, you get to see his true views on religion.

I was making a remark on how stupid it is to blame religion on the death of others, Christian or Atheist.

  • @sarsfieldusmc I think public statements from Hitler himself and the book he wrote himself hold a lot more truth than those supposedly written by some prisoners of war. Wouldn't you think?

  • @whitehorsejason

I think the statements of his staff are more influential than what he said to brainwash his nation.

    Okay

    Hitler= 8 million

    Atheist Marxism/Communism= 110,000,000

  • @sarsfieldusmc So you are saying he used religion to brainwash a nation? Anyway hitler died in 1945 and this book was published in 1952. There is a lot of mistruths about ww2 if you really care to study a little further. Propaganda was as alive then as it is now, though it is more obvious these days with a better educated public. Religious, racial and other forms of supremacism still are a real destructive force and continue to plague humanity. People are good as a whole, religion is not.

  • @whitehorsejason Yep. Now, Nazism core roots was based off of Blood Cultism, not Christianity. He did, however, use Christianity to brainwash the nation. It saddens me to see people fall for it so easily.

Communism used Atheism to brainwash a nation, and a lot of Marxist ideals were based from their Atheism.

I'm not saying Christianity or atheism is a bad thing, but when atheism/other religious opinions mix with government, bad things will result

  • @sarsfieldusmc Well, there again I will state that it is very natural for for Christians and Catholics to want to create some distance. Most of Hitler's top army officials and (evil scientists) claimed to be men of god and went to church religiously. Of the the ones that managed to escape after the nazi's demise, mostly all them sought refuge from their churches in other countries and were well received. Funny enough, one nick named Dr.Death even converted to Islam in order to hide in Egypt.cont,

  • @sarsfieldusmc Cont,,The remaining nazi's were imprisoned and I think we all know prisoners of war will say almost anything to try and have their lives spared. So my bottom line for is simply this, the well documented position of the nazi party at the time was their position. The literature that came out years later that claimed this was not their view was hearsay and spin doctors attempts to rewrite history which has been seen endless times throughout history , will cont2 after a brief dogwalk

  • Comment removed

  • @sarsfieldusmccont 2Let's be clear about marxism, forgive the reductionist summary as it is a very complex issue. Atheism was part of the marxism philosophy,I grant you that. In no way was atheism a selling feature for this vast complex ideology. Some of the marxism Idea's were good ones, the implementation of this ideology against the peoples will, was an act of brutal dictatorship.Once the Nazi party came into power it turned into a brutal dictatorship but church involvement was apparent cont3

  • @sarsfieldusmc He is not really bitching about the people themselves(just their leaders), He is bitching about mythology trying to be passed on as reality. It is an attack on religion itself, and he has every right. I think in this day and age it is the obligation of all us freedom loving people to speak out against religion, to see that it soon falls into the category of history, where it belongs.

  • The jews! will lose ISRAEL!!!! Fuck USA!!!

  • True Christians don't pray selfishly (i.e. begging God to cause their team to win or hit the lotto), but rather that God's will be done. I pray that God uses this tragedy to bring a proud man to his knees and to acceptance of salvation through Jesus Christ for eternal life.

  • @salmagnum stfu

  • @salmagnum I'm curious about two things...

Why pray that your god's will be done? If your god is omnipotent, and has a will that certain things come to pass, then they will happen even if you don't pray.

The other thing I wonder is: where in this man is the pride you speak of? He doesn't believe what you believe. He doesn't share your views. Why does that make him proud? Perhaps you're the proud one because you pretend to know things you couldn't possibly know?

  • @salmagnum Are you aware, sir, that you're an asshole?

  • @salmagnum true christians also don't think critically about the claims of their own religion; if they did, they would see how absurd it is, and how little evidence it has.

if hitchens is a proud man, it is certainly not for the reasons you think it is.

there is no proof for god or an afterlife, never mind an eternal one. so until you have some, shut the hell up.

  • @doaftheloaf You have swilled down the establishment's lies on this one my friend. Your boy even defends the unconstitutional wars our corrupt gov't has waged in the past decade, so don't come flying your "twoof" flag to me. I have assembled a mountain of evidence for my beliefs on my channel, in the favorites and assorted playlists. You won't check into any of them because you think you've got it all figured out. Stick your head in the sand and then complain that you can't see the sun...phhft

  • @salmagnum 1. i disagree with hitchens on the unconstitutional war in iraq.

    2. the vids on your channel that i looked at were just a bunch of the same fluff i've heard before.

  • @salmagnum You should try sacrificing a goat it's far more effective and you only need to do it once a year.

  • I'll commune with nature but I'll not commune with communists.

  • Poor guy who knows he will be decomposed soon.

  • Hitchen sold out his soul for just a couple of his arrogant but extremely ignorant followers. Not me, I'm wiser to know that human beings are just like the weather. Cold today, hot tomorrow;)

  • @eltopus4747 Whats a soul?

  • @maxpainfu1 To understand the soul, you need to understand what a spirit and a body is. Man is first and foremost spirit according to the bible, and it is the very source of life. It is the energy imputed by God that keeps all living things alive. Evolution will never be able to explain that. Now, Man is also a body(flesh). God made man from the dust. We need it to interact with the natural world. The soul is the real Man. It connects the spirit to the body so the body can live.

  • @eltopus4747 If animals have souls, why dont they go to heaven?

And if a soul is the energy that keeps all living things alive - does this mean bacteria have souls? And plants?

Why dont their souls go to heaven or hell?

  • @eltopus4747 ok what are you talking about?all you mention is repeating words like soul and spirit.why don't you answer his question in words that means something to all.why all living things to go to heaven and hell?

  • @eltopus4747 Does their Thetan also go to heaven when they die? You know how crazy it sounds to say that the soul is the source of LIFE but is liberated upon DEATH. Does the soul (God's energy??) just fail at the end? Is a terminal illness the body trying to cast off a soul? When a doctor revives a dead man, shouldn't he also be chanting prayers to get the soul back? Maybe you should just leave the ghost stuff to Tolkein, cause actually believing in it ignores logic.

  • "The party going on without me" is what chills me the most, It pains me that I won't be around to witness mankinds future and greatest accomplishments. Also it could well be that the people now living and in the near future will be the only humans not to live forever since in the future there are sure to be medical discoveries that will stop the ageing process.

If the human race grows for the next millions years and they live forever (or a very long time) we will be the unlucky few.

  • I hope you pull through Christopher, thanks for all the sanity you've given the world.

  • NICE BALD HEAD LMAO SUCK IT

  • @dhide14 You're very sad indeed, dhide.

  • @dhide14 coward

  • The real sad part is that priks like dhide14 will never get to realize how poorly they waste there lives were wasted following the bible, and that the only thing that will happen to them when they die is there seldomly used brain dies and they decompose, so hitchens will always get the last laugh. LONG LIVE CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS

  • dhide14: yea, we already got Haggart exposed; Bakker and Hovind jailed; Falwell, Oral Roberts and John-Paul dead; with Phelps, Swaggart, Robertson and Hinn all staring death in the eye. I'll take that trade... LMAO !!!!!

  • Thats messed up. Its funny how people feel sorry for Hitchens but if you would be dying Hitchens wouldnt give two shits about you. He would be like "Please, give a lad another cocktail and cigarette while I piss on this man's grave, cause I am an arrogant asshole and I dont believe in God, that is silly. Why would anyone belive that someone has created a complicated universe. Its just happened, easy as pie. I could do it too cause I am that intelligent but I decide not to" ha ha

  • Excuse me...

Its Author and Anti-theist, thank you.

  • @knoose same thing....

  • Hitchens you are truly one of the most intellectually strong-willed public images. Thank you for igniting in me and many others the desire to refute stupidity.

  • he looks like a fool with no hair! lol!

"the fool has said in his heart 'there is no God'"

  • @ChristiansForUnity Wow, you're a complete douchebag. Not surprising, considering your name.

  • @ChristiansForUnity

"Who's more the fool? The fool or the fool who follows him"

Ben Kenobi, Star Wars, Episode 1: A New Hope

  • @Sc0pe777 episode 4, noob

  • @Sc0pe777 Obi-wan can Blow me.... :)

  • @ChristiansForUnity "...But whoever says, 'you fool!' shall be in danger of hellfire." Matthew 5:22

  • @ChristiansForUnity You look like a fool with your Bible! lol!

"the fool has said in his heart 'there is a god!"

  • always thought he was biased, a part of wider conspiracy against islam .now i know he always just spoke his mind and was always true to himself. And divinity if there is any must stand up wen it sees christopher, not a hypcrite at all.May Allah,s blessings be on you.

  • Hitchens supports this. [Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: "We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?"; Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price--we think the price is worth it." — "60 Minutes" (5/12/96)]

  • The "party" metaphor falls infinitely short. It's not like you are leaving a great party and going on to experience something else that's less fun. You are leaving experience itself. It's the end of everything. Simply put: nothingness.

  • Hitch filled up towards the end,so did I.

Just hope he lives a lot longer,I really mean that.

  • Our lives are a bit too short, but "to live forever" would be torture. Let's hope science manages to double or triple our life-spans or something, that would be okay..: )

  • Spent like CHIP-IMPLANTED WHORES ON CHICKEN PLANET: The invaders who slaughtered the citizens of Vietnam, and those who are currently slaughtering the citizens in the Arab World, have no honor.

  • The day this man dies, the world will lose more than it has ever "gained" through the supposed self sacrifices of every religious prophet.

  • @deadmoon29 : Set it to music, Sister!

  • @deadmoon29 what does that even mean...

  • @captainmadguns Yeah, no kidding. tss

  • I HATE the bullshit lighting in these clips....

  • why is he bald?

  • @llethaface11 he was diagnosed with cancer...search christopher hitchens cancer...it sucks...

  • @llethaface11 he has cancer and is undergoing chemo

  • Hang in there mr. Hitchens, we need you!

  • I don't want to live forever but I don't want to die today.

  • @mjh012363 I will be your friend if your depressed and want to die. Life is beautiful.

  • @apostatesspeak Er..what??? No! I was just stating the curse of being sentient and mortal that's all.

  • @mjh012363 My misunderstanding, I thought you were depressed or something. Lol.

  • @mjh012363 well said.

  • hitch has been the most influential person in my life freeing me from the chains of religion and opening my eyes to see the real world for what it is. for that, i will always be in your debt sir.

  • I'm not going up to any spirit in the sky, not going anywhere when I die. When I die and they lay me to rest, I'm not going to that place that's the best.

  • Don't worry Hitch. Any retard who says that .... will be thoroughly verbally disemboweled by your human brothers and sisters. If and when they try...and they will...we will put them in little box where liars belong! Your legacy will go on ,,,,, and build....until Human Beings are free of this ancient lie!

  • I pray for Christopher Hitchens every day.

I dont mind if he hates my religion, or my toys or my candies -- why would I want to share them, anyway?

I hate cigarettes and alcohol myself; everyone has their preferences.

Hitchens is a hero to me and I pray that he gets all the best in the world, bless him.

  • @LiberdadeHedonista You understand Chris is an "Anti-Theist" right?? If Chris were standing in front of you as you said that. You know he would laugh in your face and feel sorry for you right?

  • @AcaiAdvantage

Hitchens hates to be called Chris, as you will notice in many of his writings, especially Hitch-22. I never found anything offensive in his opinions (except maybe some propaganda for smoking, years ago). He mainly attacks fanatics who use religion for political means, demand religious ceremonies to be public, and want to convert others to their religion, which I find opprobrious. Never noticed him attacking secularists who keep religion to themselves.

  • This man embodies all that homo sapiens is supposed to mean...he's the quintessential "thinking man". I just cannot begin to thank him for encouraging me in my faithlessness. I thave disposed of my pacifier and security blanket, and death is no longer the monster beneath the bed!

Live longer and prosper, Christopher Hitchens.

  • I love you Christopher Hitchens. Should I never get to meet you in life, then thank you for enriching mine and NUMEROUS OTHERS.

You are truly an assett to the THINKING fraternity of the human race and we thank you for being as such,

    May God Be-Less.

  • @freakystyley4000

Well put. Made me tear up a little.

  • Where are the other three parts?

  • Hitchens has balls bigger than church bells! He deserves all the respect in the world!

  • @TheD0ded0de And your disgusting brain is smaller than my left ball

  • @Enigmatik691 You have balls?
