you can have playtv on ps3 it shows HD programmes and you can record it

if your iplayer icon isnt showing, go to playstation store and download any game trailer, when you exit and go back to xmb the icon will be there.

Yeah perhaps. Saying that I upgraded my mates ps3 to 3.0, hes got an old school tv and iPlayer wasn't there. If you do get it though, you will love it. Well if you like watching catch up tv lol
