I use solidedge v19 and my nephew has this lego set so I know how much work this was. Excellent job on the detail level nicely and animated. Lego models are a great way to learn this type of software so excellent choice.
Now you have all the part models you can build the dune buggy too ;-) How old are you guys?
unbeleivable, you inspired me to go make some lego creation with solid edge too, only problem it my computer crashes when i create physical interferences with 3 or more gears hahah
how did u make that crayon-drawn effect and also how did u make the animations? U used that complicated tutorial on ldraw (ldraw[dot]org/Article267[dot]html) ?

You mean the electric powered engine? It's not in standard box, you must buy it seperatly and it fits only in the second 8284 model (search in web).
