Even with the surface noise I would say my 78 sounds a little better. You can hear it on Archive dot org. On this recording, I could SWEAR that he is overdubbing vocals. I think that HAS to be an overdub, because the second vocal is so close in tone and the phrasing... either an EARLY overdub, or a very close associate who knew his every inflection on this song... more likely an early overdub doubling the vocals.
