  • CArlyInOrange that is Sister Mary Gabriel. She is the director of vocations I believe for Sisters of Life in New York. She is soooo down to earth and beautiful! She's so great.

  • well Sr.Mary Gabriel was the vocations director but now it is Sr.Antonia Maria. She is the one talking in the video response. Do not be afraid to talk to her. The Sisters are kind and sound so heavenly. Peace be with all of you.

  • Pray for me, I am really confused right now because I started out having a deep attraction towards this order , I feel like God may want me to be a Dominican but I am now realizing I am attracted to both and it is hard to figure which one is the one God has intended for me. Thank You. God Bless

  • I will surely be praying very hard for you. For about a year and a half I was sure that I was called to the Sisters of Life and I fell in love with them. In August my mom and I went to the profession of first vows of the Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor and through that day God showed me that He wanted me to be a Dominican. It was and is still hard for me to let go of the Sisters of Life but I know now that I wouldn't fit there. God bless you!

    Totus tuus Maria!

  • haha I am laughing so hard. You know who this is. 24 days! does that give you a hint. haha I cannot stop laughing. no joke.

  • O my gosh! God sure has a sense of humor...I can't believe it!!! I prayed for you in adoration today!!

  • Does anybody know the name of the Sister in the car? She has been very encouraging of my discernment. Thanks! :)

  • They are beautiful. They are in my prayers even though God has shown me elsewhere. God Bless them and their missions.

  • Definately give her a call, after all talking with her doesn't make you committed, you can visit the community and take time to discern, but if God's calling you, then I say Go, don't put it off!!

  • Awesome, I too am a convert so I understand the waiting period, but it's still good time for you to discern and visit them or other communities or even do live-ins, if you wish. You don't have to wait for that :)

  • FYI religiouslife[dot]com has a font of resources, such as an anonymous online "Test" to see if a religious vocation may be right for you. The IRL is first rate.

    : - )

  • As a baptized Catholic, you've already have been by the "font." Meant to say the IRL has a "fund" of resources.

  • do it!! She's so amazing! She's a very authentic person & she's really easy to talk to. I'll pray you get to talk with her!

  • where can I find the entire documentary? I am thinking of joining this order.

  • Do you have their contact info? They have a website you can go to

  • does anyone know what her name is?

  • this was added on my birthday.

  • I love the sisters of life. I met some of them while on the March For life. now i am yearning to join them even more.

  • Then join my dear sister, join! Our world, and our government is even more troubled, we are in need of awesome nuns like these! :)

  • I would but i am going to have to wait awhile. I am joining the Catholic Church on Easter. I felt called before RCIA class even started but I am still not sure.

  • What exactly are you unsure of? The vows, the order, the call itself?

  • Below question for BloodTar

  • they're so beautiful and doing amazing work for God!

  • I wish to join them in the future. They amaze me. Even though I haven't met any of them, I can see myself as a Sister of Life. Pray for vocations and everyone who is discerning. God bless

  • go for it

  • Dunno. Why not get unbrainwashed and find out?

  • I met them and they are the most awesome nuns ever!

  • this is good. its great. but when you see muslims in the hijab you look at them funny. just think of that.

  • well, not all nuns wear habits. i don't mind anyone who wears a veil. but also, not everyone who doesn't wear a veil immodest. you can carry your self with dignity, in a veil or not in a veil. i obviously don't veil, but i try to be respectful to my family in how i dress. i've said it before, wear or don't wear a veil, as you believe the lord requires or doesn't. everyone needs to serve god the way they think/feel they are supposed to. peace

  • I love these Sisters!

  • Do you mean Sister Antoniana? From Canada? I miss them so much!

  • I know the novice (now a simple professed sister) who is walking with the postulant in the first segment. The sisters that I know are so nice and their habits are beautiful.

  • I love the sisters of life! my friend just entered as a postulant there this year:)

  • Thank you! I have met these women and it is an awesome community! I would love to see more!

  • Pax Christi!

  • More. You can feel the grace and purpose. More.

  • It's encouraging to hear of the spiritual efforts of these sisters on this issue. Thank you.

  • Please can we see more? This is great, these young women have it figured out!
