@ZombieMasterSlayer no not entirely. to make it work, hit your xbox really hard with a hammer a good 5-37 times then try it again. i found it to be very helpful littlle tip

Guys if ur getting signed out of xbox live it means Microsoft has detected it and u need to ge an ethanet splitter

Lag switches just temporarily disconnect your internet connection, so if you're host the others in the lobby just kinda sit there with the "disconnection" symbol on their screen. THIS DOES NOT GET YOU OUT OF MAPS, Only mods to the actual HEX coding of the game can do that (other then glitches in the hex coding itself) I've been doing this since Call of duty 4, and used to mod Cod:waw zombies all the time.

@loflyn123 You can buy an ethernet coupler, or an ethernet splitter and attatch that to your lag switch and then plug another cable in to it and plug that into your xbox. Xbox live automatically detects whether or not you have a lag switch but if you put something in between, then it cannot detect it and the coupler or splitter works like a scrambler.

You could give it a try but i really dont think its going to work, odds are it will just disconnet you when you switch it over..just go on ebay and find a cheap router

alright, so my xbox is downstairs and i use a sling connector that takes my routers connection from upstairs, ( i plug the first sling into my router upstairs.) And then i have another sling connector downstairs ontop of my xbox that i plug into my xbox for my internet connection. Using this setup, could i unplug the ethernet cable from the sling downstairs, couple it with one side of the lagswitch and plug the other side into my xbox for effective lag switch using?
