I don't know if this is a real cat or if it is made out of metal and a other cat body parts but I like it either way. I wish I had one.

Excellent piece of work, not only in the construction but also in the motion that you have captured. After reading some of the other comments I have to laugh, especially "package severance" TWAT springs to mind amongst a myriad of other labels that I will refrain from posting. I am a sculptor myself it's always good to see some one elses inspiration, have you created any other animals? Thanks for posting.

the cat is made up of brass levers and alloy body frame.

powered by the gearbox from an old VCR and 12 volts small batteries.

it has approximately 100 parts (excluding the stainless steel special bolts made for each joint)and took many weeks to make.

an excercise in pure mechanical art
