actually i dont live in alberta, i live in newfoundland. this was back when my father lived in slave lake and i went to visit him for a couple weeks, and im not sure what the name of the area was.

oh man i was hit by that 2nd strike you see,i was playing vlts at the sawridge,i got knocked off my barstool!my hair is still smoking,good thing it haa hhaha hhahaha hasnt affected me though.

I'm from the Seattle, WA area and I was in Wetaskiwin that week! WOOHOO!!! Did a lot of driving between Wetaskiwin and Edmonton during the storm, saw a range-fire off to the west (Orange glow), LOADS of debris on 2A north of Millet, and the Millet/Wetaskiwin power outage. I'll be back up there next weekend for a week. LOVE IT!!!

That storm passed right over us! I could still see it at midnight, it looked like frickin WW2! It was awesome! That was probably the most active cell I've ever seen, lightning strikes at least every 3 seconds and the thunder was continuous, non-stop. I hope we have another storm like that!

that was a huge storm one lightning bolt landed just across the street from my house i live in edmonton but it was the same on it lastes from like 7:00 to 4:00 the next morning
