What he's tryin to say is that something doesn't have to be complicated for people to like it. Look at Soulja Boy's hit.. thats probably the easiest and cheesiest beat ever, but its got that catchy little hook that pretty much EVERYONE knows by now. It isn't ALL based on difficulty. I'd respect somebody for composing a difficult song, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Who really cares if its hard or not.. what matters or whether or not it sounds tight.
