not really, considering you'd have to drive hours from anaheim to find any ice not inside some fancy building. i just got done playing some pond hockey in my back yard with about 15 people. thats how its done in a state where a well put together hockey team is welcomed (250+ consecutive sold-out games). even when the team sucks theres still not an open seat in the house

Good for you. Everything is a compromise. You get to play pond hockey, which is great, but you also have to suffer thru bitter cold when you're not. So what's your point?

NFL I have say is tough, and you have to be good to get in. But NHL is way harder and tougher. F'ball plays for 5 secs and then waits 30 secs to play again. Hockey could go for 5 mins and then you wait 30 secs to play again.

How in the hell can you say that Kunitz is a wuss and the Ducks suck. Kunitz is second in hits on a team that finished the season with 71 fighting majors to the, sad and pathetic, 14 for the Wild. Watch the YouTube video of Kunitz and Ruutu and you might get a different picture. Ducks for the sweep in four!

I checked the Ruutu - Kunitz fight and i don't see your point. Kunitz was wearing a visor, and then while Ruttu was down kept smoking him. American Colleges are good for getting a Phd, not learning hockey.

Besides, who on your Ducks team HAVEN'T got their ass worked by Boogaard, or any other one of the Wild members anyway??? I have NEVER seen them lose a fight to the ducks. WUSSES! Look for you guys to get the games back in Cali with a 2-2 tie.

Yeah the only way that Kunitz can win a fight is when the player slips and falls down and then he tries to punch him. Kuntiz is a wuss and a dumb ass of a fighter, sorry but you don't throw punches when they are already down. And please, do you honestly expect him to be called tough, when he PULLS HAIR!!! So you're saying a team is better because they fight 71 times in 82 games? 14 fighting majors doesn't make a team worse. A team could go through a whole season with 0 fights and still be #1; another team could go through a season with 200 fights and be dead last.
