@MyWhitmansSampler - Though we agree the most effective way to prevent STi is abstinence, even if you are abstinent until marriage, chances are you might marry someone who is not. Thus prevention is still important. Secondly, I am not aware of any manufacturers site that lists any ineffectiveness of the HPV vaccine. Specifically they are effective in the two strains (16 and 18) that they do prevent prevent which represent 70% of cervical cancers as well as other malignancies.
Don't have sex until marriage and you won't have to worry about STD's. The manufacture's website itself says this vaccine is ineffective.
