I'm going to get new tires in a month or so and would like advise, if anyone can help. I have an 05 TJ - stock. Currently running 30" but wonder how much of a difference 31" tires would make. I've been advised not to go bigger than 31" w/o a lift. Looking at bf goodrich all terrain. I drive off the road and would not consider what I do as "off-road". 30" vs 31"
@alternativerocker121 lol its an I 6. 35s are going to rub a lil with only a 4 inch unless you do some feder trimming or flat fender it. Jeeps are amazing though!
@KingTMD trust me bud I wanted a clutch. not everybody gets what they want so you take what you can get. I bought my own vehicle when I got my liscence
I cannot stand an automatic while offroading. A clutch is more useful, if you know how to use it properly but then again it's based off of personal preference.
@Orvellrednbacer I feel like a real dumbass asking this but I'm about to buy a 2002 sport 4.0 manual. The question is, is it hard to learn to drive a stick?
@flipbarracuda There are some pretty useful guides on YouTube on how to learn to drive a manual transmission. If you end up buying the car, just take it to an empty parking lot and practice getting going from First Gear (which is the hardest part). Then you can move onto starting on inclines (which is even harder). You'll get the hang of it pretty quick, and it's fun :)
Nice video man . I had a '98 red w/ spice top and interior w/ 30 X 9.50's just traded for a 2003 sport w/ 31 X 10.50's . My new Jeep is way too nice to 4 wheel , in that respect I miss the '98 .
@pisswiller I know the feeling man. I was in an accident (not my fault) and rebuilt it from the ground up. way to nice to wheel yet. find a cheap one and make a trail rig though. Im on the process now. its pretty fun
@LalanP111 I hear ya..Just playin. Although it would a better vid with a Fat Ass track. Like PDitty or Johnny Beiber or whatever..Just Kiddin..Its all good in da hood...OIIIIO...I hav the same ride.Mine is a 99. Same color red. Does your Jeep hav a soft or hard top???
@Francential haha yea, definatly something heavy though. it has both, I got the soft top when I bought it but it is pretty beat up. I just repainted the hard top and it turned out to be pretty sick!
