Meals On Wheels and Firestone Complete Auto Care team up to fight senior hunger

Unfortunately the cost of a meal is around $7. Food, kitchen equipment, packaging, transportation...this gets expensive. But there is no better service in the world. $7 brings that homebound and hungry senior more than just nutrition. It's bringing them companionship, a safety check, and a lot of times a reason for being.

All seniors must apply to receive the service and all are personally interviewed at their house to make sure that they're indeed homebound, etc. Your job is just to visit your local Meals on Wheels center and they'll give you instructions regarding the route you will take to deliver the meals. The people really enjoy not only receiving their meals, but getting to meet you. If you have any more questions, just go to the site shown at 1:00
