Who are you kidding- I took Emirates recently instead of PIA since it was cheaper but I regret the decision. Emirates is notorious for losing baggage and sure enough one passenger did! As for the food, there was a choice of three main courses but I was never satisfied. PIA has two choices but the Pakistani food on PIA beats anything else hands down; In terms of services, professionalism and comfort, you can't beat PIA. The only thing Emirates has over PIA is a newer fleet but who cares.

I really wonder about Emirates and its rating; It sounds more like they influenced someone to get their ranking as number one. New planes and throwing money doesn't make a world class airline. Even though PIA is more expensive in economy, I prefer it over Pearl Class in Emirates; My recent experience on Emirates was an eye opener. I though I was saving a few hundred but the aggravation with Emirates isn't worth it!
