  • let's keep in mind inner beats are inner beats for a reason, when u let inner beats "sing" or especially "oversing" you begin to sound like a middle school drummer. also keep in mind this is obviously far from a studio/mastered piece. completely badass none the less.

  • Just OK for me. I agree with the11thone, less synth more percussion. Keep this comment in the analytical sphere of a critique of a Reuben Gingrich number among the body of all Reuben Gingrich works.

  • The melody tones overpower and hide the inner rhythms. As a result the downbeat has to be so strong to be heard. Quiet the melody tones, soften the downbeat stroke and let the inner drum beats sing. Let the melody tones accompany the drums. Let the strike volume of the drums vary with expression like a lead melodic singer would do. Let the drums be the expressive lead. I know of no one more talented than you to do it. I enjoy your work.
