Thank you for listening and commenting. On a difficulty scale of 1-10 I would rate this piece as somewhere between 5-6. Heifetz, one of the greatest violinists in history, said that he thought that Bach and Mozart were the very difficult to play because one has to be very accurate and the listener's ear can very easily detect mistakes. This is a wonderful piece of music and I feel so lucky to have this genius music from hundreds of years ago to play today. It is fine if you can not play the piece at this tempo. The music is still just as great at a slower tempo. I vibrato on the note at 1:04 and if you are studying violin or other string instument you will want to work on vibrato.Regards, E

How long have you been playing? I had played 3 years and then stopped for 4. Now I'm starting up again. But my hands just won't relax. I don't know how to relax.

@SuperLadyAlexandra I have played for decades however have gone without practicing for many months. It is very important for both hands to be relaxed when playing. You can play much more quickly and accurately when relaxed. Make sure that the bow and neck are not being gripped too firmly and that the left arm is moving freely. Are you using a shoulder rest? I do not use one however many people do and say this helps their left and right arms be more relaxed. Thanks for listening, Edmund

Here I am tuned at A444 (usually do) rather than 440 or 442 and there is a wrong note played (thankfully I listener informed me). The version I manually transcribed from was not the urtext and had an error. Thanks.
