"Now we finally know that Snowmen exist" - written in some of the victim's diary... They saw something strange, probably last hours before in woods. "snow men" -did these creatures come out from the snow, did victims see them, or were they scared of the heat; why were they naked in -30 degrees Celsius, i mean "wtf"
Then again people create so much speculation about ufo's and fictional creatures that it's hard to tell what really happened, but it fits the case when its 1959 (almost the starting point of the cold war) so why wouldn't the soviet union be testing bombs in an isolated area? And come to think of it doesn't hair turn grey when it is burned? this is a strange case but it's kind of obvious to tell what really happened.
I think a soviet bomb being tested in the area could have scared the hikers out of their tents and caused them to rip it open, this could explain why the victims had high readings of radiation and why some had a tan, also the red orbs could have been glowing missile shooting across the sky but that still doesn't explain why one of the victims was missing a tongue? To tell you the truth I've never heard of something so unexplainable it's very weird.
@Jjb44j missiles don't "float", they fly and they fall. If they fall there is a collateral damage - in snow, in ground - and on bodies; collateral damage (hypothermia, high radiation ) ONLY on 6 bodies of young people and no serious traces on trees, snow around - was it a bomb, really? I doubt about it. People were scared as shit, ran 900 m away from their ripped, opened tent in a panic, and gathered under some old pine tree where something finally started to attacking them.
what better way to stop the families and loved ones from grabbing torches and pitchforks and hunting down the perpetrator to say it was something other worldly... there's no one to go after! think about it, the so called lights in the ski were distress flairs.also, it was said during that time they were trying to create humanzees for their military in under ground laps teaming with radioactive experiments maybe it was on the creatures fur from over exposure.
I stumbled across some messed up just revealed archives from january, you gotta view these. Pay a visit to ufosecretXnet (replace X with . ) and take a look through them!
I think it's something like off the hills have eyes. The Soviet gov't used to test bombs and what not, so it might have been one of the indigenous people that got so much radiation they mutated and got loose or something. Not the smartest but it does make somewhat sense. What the hell else would have been up there?
why would experienced hikers tare up their tent in the middle of the night and why they left bare foot and no clothes? Cause they were in a hurry, something must have happend that scared them real bad. Why three people had fatal injuries and why one women tongue was missing? Skeptics getting owned in this one. I aint gonna say its ufo but they didint die in natural causes either. Something must have happend , we can only imagine what happend to them.
- subsequently it was shown the ledge some fell off was enough height to cause enough acceleration to cause the damage.
- The person's tongue was gone because it was eaten by bacterial action.
- They has quickly made holes in their tent, some barely even putting a sock on before trying to escape the campsite, what was there that made them do that?
the last part is right but everything else has not been mentioned anywhere that ive seen and ive spent the past 3 weeks studying this yur only making things up as excuses so you dont have to face the facts,... so in short fuck-off and dont talk unless you know what ur talking about no one wants to listen to you
sorry blindhitman but karl is absolutely right. Ludmilla Dubhinina's tongue had degraded through the action of microflora and fauna, in other words the natural bacteria in her mouth. The Aquiziam site is your best bet to get the facts, which are very commonsense. Nobody knows why they left the tent but the rest can be explained logically. The weapons testing theory is problematic also since the radiation was actually quite minimal and certainly not anything near weapons quality.
Thankyou, good to see another sane & intelligent person exists out there.
There's a well known theory in psychology showing when someone really wants to believe something (ie. that extraterrerstrials attacked the Dyatlow pass group or that the KGB used some mystery space weapon on them) they will discount ALL facts that disprove them, to the point where you can systematically show them the truth, but nothing will make them let go of their fantasies. So sad.
@treaclebuns Wow another doctor over here? What you graduated like CSI miami full season DVD or something.? What a stupid claim. Human body freezes in -Celsius weather conditions. That means all bacterial processes slow down or STOP and body does NOT start decompose like it would in +Celsius conditions
Some rationalist debunker type recently postulated that it involved an avalanche. I was never aware that the Soviet government classified such acts of nature "secret."
Personally, I think it involved weapons testing-- they were developing some new system in the area, tried it out, and it got away from them. It wouldn't be the only time --and they wouldn't be the only government-- that used completely unwitting civilians as guinea pigs.
Then why did some of them Die in the attempt to make it back to camp. They that did were killed, not by the cold but by something other than. Would you go back if something lethal was waiting for you. Also why were they not pursued when the ran from camp? There is no evidence whatsoever to determine what happened. I deffo dont buy the UFO theory. Your idea makes more sense than even that.
Re: "Then why did some of them Die in the attempt to make it back to camp."
Those who died on the way back were shown post-mortem to have succumbed to acute hyporthermia, which is not surprsing since it was probably -20 celcius or something and they were half naked.
Nothing spooky about that and absolutely nothing to do with extraterrersstrials -- although I know you REALLY want to believe that.
Some from memory died from blunt trauma from the fall.
The Russians are not hiding anything, every document there is from the episode can be found in the national archives and are openly read by researchers, this includes the police reports and all correspondence between them.
It amazes me how people take something like Dyatlov Pass and extrapolate a fictional story in their heads in the process completely ignoring facts and even creating their own out of thin air.
Clearly US public education system doesn't teach scientific reasoning.
@karlkarlkarl1234 Wow, what amazing pseudo-intelligence you have there!
Of course people would take something like this and make radical statements, it's human nature to exaggerate something as interesting as this, so don't be too amazed. And thin air? UFO's have been long theorized to have been with us since who knows when.
All that aside I hope that you don't trust the government well enough that they would actually show EVERYTHING they've documented to the public just like that.
So you're having a go at me when I point out solid facts from the case calling it "pseudo-intelligence" yet you think a UFO came and killed them.......
@karlkarlkarl1234 Okay then, do me a favor and re-read my comment again.
In fact, re-read it about 10 times just to be safe.
I NEVER said that I think UFO's killed them, and I don't. That paragraph explained how it's only human nature to believe that, seeing as you couldn't believe that people thought that UFO's caused this incident.
@karlkarlkarl1234 By "pseudo-intelligence", using your own common sense to write something clearly negative like "I can't believe that people believe that UFO's did this" isn't cool. That statement doesn't sound smart, but you said it in a state of exaggeration. Since you sound intelligent, you can't argue that such a hypothesis isn't uncommon to believe to the common man. In fact if you didn't know any of the facts besides what this video told you, I'm pretty sure that the term UFO pops up. ;)
@karlkarlkarl1234 Don't worry about anything this strange little boy has to say, he has stated on youtube he supports Hamas and their activities, he has also stated that Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his regime is something to be admired, He is an intolerant bigot (and a Jew) who supports the enemies of his own people, all you have to do is check out his home page and comment history and you will see what a hateful person he is.
Yeah, you can argue that it's not paranormal(although I like to think it was). But you can't argue it did not happen. It's well known in Russia and you can read about it on wiki.
the Dyatlov pass incident was real, but still they cannot find an explanation about what happened... something very bad happened there, the version about unexperienced people scared about a possible avalanche is really fool, they were experienced, and in february an avalanche would be extraordinary... one source of solution would be Plesestk, the rocket base, but again there are not reported launchings in february, 1959... because it's winter, you almost cannot launch a rocket with that cold
Yeah the avalanche theory has been proved impossible, since they were experienced enough to camp somewhere safe. Also tests afterward by police showed the direction of their movement and lack of damage to anything around them meant no avalanche possible.
Also: the radiation theory has been put down to the lamps they were using, which back then emitted large levels of radiation, also explaining why it was on the front of the clothing of only a couple of them. The radiation type matched this.
