You are actually a pretty good songwriter, storyteller mostly. This was cute. May I humblypass along a few hints I was given by a grammy winner from whom I happened to take a class? Your words are great but jumbled. Kill all extra words. Eg, "I just don't understand this new vampire obsession" - 13 syllables. Try (just a suggestion) "I don't understand vampire obsessions" - 10 syls. It says the same thing, but is easier to sing. Cleaned up with a cool/funny video & this could be great.
