Question to sax players.. What are you thinking about when you are improvising in a solo section? I'm a guitar player but I've always found my playing to be far too linear, especially in jazz playing. I've always been a fan of the way that saxophone players use different notes of the scale to create non-linear solos. They always catch my attention. Open question to everyone...
