I worked in the city many years ago, met really good people. Stayed in the Hands das houseworks, not to far from the station, really enjoyed me time there. Was run by the Guttsmans( hope the spelling is correct). Would really like to know is anyone remembers two Britts, Bill and Carl. Would be really good to here from you if you do ?
Es macht mich ein wenig traurig, wenn ich mir vorstelle, dass nur vorwiegend die Fankfurter, von diesen wahrscheinlich auch nicht annähernd alle, ihre Stadt mögen und sie bei vielen anderen nur Tristess und Langweile auslöst.
Dabei hat diese Stadt und ihre Umgebung so viele reizvolle Orte...

The modern buildings are very ugly (look like typical soviet ugly cold style). rebuild the old city and get rid of the modern and get back to the german roots.
Ist nicht viel los.Nette Hintergrundmucke würde das Video aufpeppen.Trotzdem meine Heimatstadt,obwohl ich seit 1997 im Westen lebe. Grüße an alle aus FFO.
Hallo! Es kann sein, dass ich "die Scheiße" wie du so schön sagt, am Sonntag gefilmt habe. Es ist sowieso nie viel los in FFO, egal am welchen Tag. Aber das ist nicht der Punkt, Leuten zu filmen ist uninteressant. Die Stimmung dort ist interessant, die Architektur auch.Ich erschrecke mich nicht für so wenig...
Hola! I wasn't living in Frankfurt/O a very long time but I can tell you there are some inteested places like the University Viadrina, which is a very old univerity. The Marienkirche and the Rathaus...This city is also unique because it is linked to Poland with a bridge. Before you could't go across easily but now the border is open, there's no control anymore. Hope that will help you
You're a bit wrong, there are still border controls, but not constantly like they were one year ago. Especially at weekend the police likes to pick out some cars which seem 'doubtful'.
Frankfurt(Oder) is not a place to go on holiday, it's a place to find some nice student pubs, calm and you can also ride bicycle along the Oder river and enjoy the landscape. One side of the river belongs to Germany and the other side belongs to Poland. German people coming from other cities like this place for its binational aspect, you can also across the border to Polad on foot by walking on a bridge.
I love Frankfurt and Slubie cause I find the fact that two countries with different cultures and languages are within a walking distance from one another magical. It's probably my favourite place in the world.
Ich liebe diese Stadt weil :
1. Bin ich dort geboren ( somit meine Heimatstadt )
2. Ist es dort sehr sauber
3. Gibt es auch Orte wo ordentlich was los ist ( man muss sie nur kennen )
4. ist es eine echt wunderschöne stadt.

I love good old Frankfurt O.!!!!
Nobody realizes here just what a jewel of a town it is!!!! Its unique in so very many ways!!! The people are great and so helpful to strangers!!!
