The set up takes a little bit of time, but then you can use this shopkeeper (and the speech bonus and perks for other dialog options) throughout the game, so it is a worthwhile investment. The actual duplication process, traveling and selling is quite quick.

Once you have your shopkeep ready, simply choose a house with a mannequin to duplicate your items in. I prefer Honeyside as it has the exit to Skyrim and is quite close to the stables and my horse so I may fast travel to my already established super rich merchant! (Adrianne in Whiterun). Spend a couple extra bucks on potions to help with the weight, wear the thieves guild armor, have the steed stone active etc to help with your encumbrance and voila! Super amount of easy gold!

With a little preparation (using the dialog glitch with Ungrien to gain 100 speech to purchase the investment speech perk) and finding a merchant near a container to invest in (so that you can store your money quickly before the transaction is complete so it essentially costs you nothing to invest). You will have a merchant you can sell an insane amount of stuff to. (I like how close Adrianne is to the entrance so if I am over encumbered, its not a far walk!

Go to Blackbriar Meadery and talk to Ungrien. Persuade until Speech is 100. Travel to Whiterun and talk to Adrianne when shes inside next to the cabinet and invest 500. Quickly back out and put your money in the cabinet. Rinse and repeat. Use Honeyside mannequin and equip expensive armor, without exiting the menu, remove the armor. Exit and reenter and the mannequin should still have the armor. remove, rinse, repeat. Use a horse and fast travel to Whiterun to sell in bulk to Adrianne.

(off you want to you can boost and max out but it's not as fun) improve the speech to 100 and you should level up enough times to buy all the speech perks (buy only the left side of the speech perk selection) go to riverwood and invest in the trader (has to be riverwood) and he ends up with 11,750 default gold. You can sell about 9 ogmah infiniums and "wait" for 48 hours to reset the gold. (it's a long process but in about 20 min with 100+ books I made 200,000 gold. Enough to suit me fo

Heres the way I get money for CONSOL (this needs a mad thumbs up cause i dont think pple have done this) ok search for the bookshelf book duplication glitch, learn it, get the ogmah infinium (long ass quest but worth it) duplicate it but don't read it! (its worth 2,500) and store all but one in a chest. Take one out at a time and keep reading one at a time (if you read one with like 100 others in inventory at the same time it will remove them all) I thing it's "path of the shadow" that increase

You can drag the skeleton closer to the exit (*hold* the "E" key on PC to start dragging), bring a horse to fast travel, and weight is not really a problem. Personally, I have a ton of gold without any glitches, and what I lack is stuff to spend it on :/

Patched and clearing system cache won't do any good because when you go to load your save file you are prompted with "This game save was created on a more recent version of skyrim" or something like that then says "Please download any updates". EVERYBODY: Quick tip, if you bring a horse, and go onto the horse, the game doesnt detect that your overencumbered, so whenever your on a horse, you can fast travel at any given time.

Just a waste of time venders only have about $750-$1000 gold per day this means if you had Speech head gear to increase prices by 20% and Necklace for speech 20% (I'm not going to include fortify barter potions) you'd only make $32 septums (gold) per book meaning you'd need 23 books per vendor just to make about $750 Gold so there's 9 holds and about 2-3 people per Hold that would let you sell them too so you'd need 632 books to sell to 27people through out the game which you'd only make $20,250

CONFIRMED: After a few days maybe a couple of weeks (in game time), the skeletons respawn and the glitch is repeatable. I performed this glitch as soon as I could at about level 5 and tried it again at level 23 just for kicks and the skeletons were all there as well as the book(s). Happy shopping of houses :)

Skelly was layin on the alter i hit him a few times it killed him an every time i open his inventory +1 book is added weather i collect it or not so i open an closed the Skelly till it had 1000 books and collected them all at once

There is a glitch in Riften at the Black Briar Meadery. you just bribe the bartender a couple times then keep pressing tell me more... then the persuade option. It actually helps because I pick everything up and sell to the closest store. then i buy spell tomes and stuff like that.

First they sell more, you might find something usefull and u get xp. For 17 gold a book its a waist of time, you dont get xp its boring and you dont find something usefull.

What a lame method for finding money..

You can better chop wood and sell it. for 60 wood you get 300 gold. and takes you like 5 to 10 min.

@1308Rene No. I made 7k in 40 minutes doing this at level 5. Wood chopping at 300g/10 min * 4 = 1200g for the same about of time. Even if it was every 5 minutes that's only 2400g. 7000g> 2400g, or whatever I would make in some low level 5 dungeon. You may be right for higher level dungeons, but for low levels who want to start out with a good chunk of change it's not a bad method.
