It really is a brilliant movie. It is extremely charming and very well observed. The amount of guys I know who's girlfriends/wives have marginalised them and yet they are blind to it amazes me. I'm so glad Allen was brave enough to have this as the secondary theme! The primary theme is live for today, because tomorrow you'll see today as your golden age! So true. This is the movie Allen will be remembered for. Genius.

If "Woody would never go for that crap" why has he described Ireland like this “Ireland is one of those places that lives up to the hype and is as beautiful as everyone tells you it is." and then go on to say "If I got the offer of financing, I wouldn’t hesitate to go and make a movie in Ireland. Ireland is a place I would not have a problem living in for the couple of months it took me to make the film." .......Come on man
