@assassins332 Yes and they are very good but when you get to learning kickflips and tres, then you might want to consider more pairs because they tend to rip up fast but preform great Nike Sb has both of that and they are really good. Unless you don't mind spending money then get etnies they are good.

@tyricthebest Not a stupid question, trust me when you get more advanced and even learning now can help greatly. Like would you play football in ballerina shoes? Nah man skate shoes are designed specificly for skating and they make a huge difference in protection and preformance.

the thing is that i've been trying to ollie and for some of them i get a little pop (bout 25 cm ...) but i don't feel my front foot sliding upward on the board....if i concentrate on sliding the front foot i don't pop it well or i end up pushing the board down therefore not getting any air at all...do u have any advice? ps: i've been trying for 5 days now but still no improvement...

@kENZRUm skate shoes have a wider base so you have more grip btw i you are going to buy some don't get airwalks they are made cheaply nowdays. hope i helped.

@kENZRUm No, it is not necessary to use skate shoes. Skate shoes are designed for skateboarding to they give you more stability. This will prevent injury, running shoes and such, that have a raised heel, can cause you to roll and sprain your ankle.
