So, he said "with liberty" when it was supposed to "indivisible". That is the fuss. I think if anyone would make anything out of that then they have to also consider Obama's botch of the swearing in. Which was apparently botched enough for it be required to do it over, yet the second time, the official remake, did not include Obama putting his hand on the Bible.

So, yes the representative doesn't know the pledge, and Obama never swore on the Bible to lead this country.

Obama never made any mistake when getting sworn in. It was a conservative supreme court justice who, despite being a strict constructionist, cannot even bring himself to remember an important part of the constitution, the peaceful transfer of power.

Besides, it is the omen that it represents. There was so much talk about him swearing on Lincoln's Bible, and it got flubbed so bad they had to do it over; in which the Bible was not used. Of course, neanderthals like to say it doesn't matter, because the Bible is nothing at all, but if that is the case why swear him in at all? What is Obama's word worth? In any case, I want to see his hand on the Bible so he can't escape God when he betrays the country, which he is now doing.

I was watching this live, and was thinking what a terrific introduction he was giving for the pledge. And then he cheapened it unbelievably by ending with "it drives the liberals crazy." No one will now remember the introduction, but instead the cheap-shot joke (and the ironic botching of the pledge). I may not be a liberal, but I don't assume that they are necessarily opposed to mentioning God in the pledge of allegiance.

The congressional healthcare bill (HR3962) mandates citizens to purchase insurance...this is unconstitutional. The federal government does not have the authority to mandate citizens purchase anything. The 10th amendment protects us from this sort of Tyranny.

Wake up Congress .. we the people are awake and will not stand for you taking away our liberty and freedom under the guides of 'healthcare for all.'
