This is a great game. I hated it at first when it game out then after playng ace combat and hating the arcade style gameplay(unrealistic crap) I rebought this and still play it to this day. Love flying with my buds in arena mode. Only thing I wish the would of added was midair refuleing. That would be SWEET!!

I love this game... It's too bad that the cluster bombs, napalm, and bunker buster explosions weren't realistic though... I love going on huge bombing runs with the warthog with napalm. It's a great game but I liked the fact that in Energy Airforce Aimstrike you would always take off and land for every mission and use CAP while flying to the mission area... That was cool.

this game rocks! i have it and i would love that they made a sequel with better things like updated graphics and more stuff but still over g is the best flying game on a console to date  those who disagre dont have a sense of realism and are surely AC or HAWX fanboys

unlike the others, like for example H.A.W.K. or Ace combat 6 ,those games are arcade games. Over G Fighters its a real simulator and its a secual to the Energy Airforce for PS2. You can call Over G fighters the real Flight Simulator for the 360.

yes. actually the maniobrability of the plane change a lot, you notice it more when you choose to use external fuel tanks the plane its feel a lot more heavy.

im thinking about getting this game but i need to know some things

does the game tame IR and RADAR signatures into acount? the f22 is invisible to RADAR

also, it showed the f22 firing a missile from the wing but the f22 has internal missile bays

is this true in the game?

I don't think the F22 is invisible to radar but I know it can be avoided in other stealth planes in the game like the F117 and F35. Yes, the F22 can fire missiles out of the internal bays but it also can have extra missiles on the wings.

yeah the f.22 is a stealth fighter, uless it is carrying missles under its wings, so that might be why it cant avoid radar.

I don't think the f-35 is stealth capable, but the F-22 can be invisible to radar, all you have to do is shut off the afterburners and press d-pad left, vuala! you're in stealth mode. It's also very fuel efficient without the afterburners. I've never gotten bingo fuel, I just land to rearm

f 35 can be stealth capable but not as good as the raptor its got about 10 or so miles more than other jets have until they get locked on.

i spent an hour today shooting down a million bosses and not one big boss showed up.

what is your class? If your class is Dexterous, then the big boss will show up later. If your class is Ace, then the big boss will show up quicker and if you are ultimate it shows up pretty quick.

Game is good if you like SIM and would like to play one on a console, graphics get ugly when flying low. you pilots sux at the beggining but as you progress you pilots can resist more G, you get better at evading misiles etc.

in terms of raw air to air online competition i was let down by this game. very realistic it may be, but that realism cuts down on the amount that you can do during online play, basically the better plane always wins. Im hoping the new ace combat will cut down on realism and create its multiplayer friendly debut for the 360

There's not 80 missiles, maybe 30. It depends on what aircraft you use too, some can hold certain missiles while others can't. There's Russian and American made missiles with some Japanese ones too. There's also a good amount of guided bombs and unguided bombs.

You can't eject when you want to, it just automatically ejects when your jet is blowing up.
